Use Apa Ivermectin L oral solution or any Ivermectin based drug (normally use to deworm in livestock). Its very effective

Another solution organically is to put garlic in their water and all the lice/mites/worms will be gone

If you are experienced, avoid catfish venture. It's like a long endurance race for 6 months and your chance of a loss is very high. Poultry is easier managed and a lesser evil.

pls house, is it advisable to go into partnership in broiler business, I am almost a novice on poultry apart from what I learned from this thread and other related thread on nairaland. now my intending partner have been in the business for 6 years, so somehow he is experienced, he will be the one in charge of the day to day running of the farm, while I will be the one supplying the drugs and feeds,
to the experienced gurus in the house, which area can my partner short change me if he wish.
we are starting with 500 day olds

Not advisable. You can do it yourself if you know the drugs and change the litre every now and then

ok, thanks for the prompt reply, I know I can do it myself, but I have several limiting factors, I don't have a pen house at the moment, though I intend to build one. and I can't do back yard farm because I live in a four storey building shared with other tenants, no free space, that's why I decided to partner with him to learn first hand from an experienced farmer so to say and at the same time make some profit out of it, my greatest impediment is space. @emmachile can you give more details why it's not advisable. thanks

How about you start with a hundred? Broiler raising is pretty easy. Do it yourself.
