how many time can I make a swap on a particular application?

Dunno, but don't call unnecessary attention to yourself bruv! Lay low.... Straighten out your POV (purpose of visit) clearly in your head and in your mind before carrying on with this application. Your ties counts most anyways! Keep evaluating yourself, you will know the right time to go ahead if you will take a step back for now, breathe in some fresh air dude.

Dear Gurus in the house

I am also experiencing difficulty to Reschedule my interview appointment date ( which is  Monday ) to another date but the option to reschedule is not available on the page.

What specific steps ‎do I need to take to solve this problem.

Thank you.

If you want to visit the U.S for tourism then get a non immigrant tourist visa .... Where do you think you have strong ties?

At that point in time, it would be the UK cause of work and my £££££.

Thanks @KaptainAfrica and @OmoBendel24.

Funny enough the sister's husband was issued student visa even after telling them that his wife and kids are there although the question was raised while he was being interviewed and he managed to trash it out with them though I don't know if its because he has good travel history or because he was one of there staffs.

My husband is so annoyed what his own business with the sister is... Lol. As why he should be refused based on th a ground and why the sister's husband and parents were given.

hello to the gurus in the house, have been a silent leader on this platform and have learned a lot.
To my question, before I got married to my hubby he has applied for visiting visa 3 times which he was denied, though he went through agents, he later came to terms that this is something he could do himself so we decided to apply together last year with our daughter, but was also denied, he has a good job in d aviation sector while am also a farmer, most of his colleagues in the office get visas easily so he decided to apply again and again making d sixth time still denied so reading through this forum I guess maybe he has been placed on 5years ban which he wasn't told coz he said the VO that interviewed him last said he knows he has a good job but he's sorry he can't issue him a visa.
so he decided to go to south Africa to spend his leave.
now I want to apply with our daughter without him to visit my bro in-law coz he wants to celebrate his 10th year wedding anniversary which he invited us but my hubby said he doesn't want to go and still be denied, now my question is will his been denied everytime affect us myself and daughter since we have applied with him before and what are our chances?
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by KaptainAfrika: 11:47am On May 20, 2017
1. How did your brother-in-law migrate to the US?
2. Yes, your husband is probably under a ban. Let him reapply 5 years from the year of his first interview, and come clean in his application form and his interview.
3. No, it won't affect you. You just be honest and fill your forms yourself. You would probably be asked about your husband - use this opportunity to tell them the truth, that might help him, if and when he is going for his interview.

To all the gurus, where would you suggest someone like this woman's husband, come clean about previous misrepresentation etc. cheers!

A little detour.

Do Nigerian staff of the US Embassy, also attend US Visa interviews? Just imagine your colleague is the VO and he/she is asking you questions.

Loooooool.

@KaptainAfrica; has she said her husband misrepresented? Well, I understand agent equals misrepresentation most times sha, Lolz, but she hasn't said that. Also, do they really give the five-year ban without bringing it to the applicant's knowledge?

can It affect the appointment scheduled if you swap New applications like two times more after the first initial Application used in scheduling the first appointment?

Good day The Gurus in the house,
Please i have tried to read atleast 300 pages so far, i believe am good with all i have got but i have just few important questions to ask.
I have been residing in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for about two years now, i have 2 years more on my current contract, an Engineer with equivalent of about 800k Naira Monthly, tried applying over here but they specified on the Website that i have to apply from my home Country or A country of Permanent Residence, . now my questions are:
1. I have traveled to Ghana, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Bahrain and Qatar in the last two years for work spending atleast 10 days in each Country, would this fly as a good travel history?
2. Is it possible to Schedule an appointment in the next 2 weeks as my management is okay with my plans of traveling to the States for My vacation by August and asked me to go and apply for the visa in Nigeria, giving me max of two weeks to get it over with.
3. Are there cases of Changing the date by the US Embassy in Nigeria? as i don't plan staying longer than the 2 weeks?
4. I have no family in the States, weather living or Dead, just friends. one which just got his Citizenship Last year, after some years of getting to the States Via Visa Lottery and others who are students, all living Legally in The US.
5. From my Situation so far, If there is anything you think i should consider, please share.
Please Your Response Are needed.

What exactly are you worried about? Do you want to swap again on same application without altering appointment date or you want to move date and swap current DS160 alongside? The swap necessarily may not have limits, and sure won't affect the appointment scheduled in itself, but the more you swap on same application without changing appointment date, the more the "packaging" you seem to be doing. I have advised you your best bet for now, Lay low, give more time.

wow US is making a very huge $$$$ from Nigerians ...That is why they make there visa application as simple as moving from one secondary school to another when you keep repeating classes.. To adjust status now is as hard now as gaining entrance into the gate of heaven for those thinking they could adjust status in america when they enter with visit visa..

Oh no that's not what I meant. I don't think her husband misrepresented. But he's been rejected 6 times, though. I was just asking for those who wish to come clean in the form and in the interview.

if you're traveling to take part in a conference that means you have to make that trip and that means you must make travel plans... it simply means if you're going for conference and you're sponsor by your firm or workplace it makes sense to stay in hotel than staying with relatives since the company sponsoring you will survive pay for your accommodation and any expense.
