And you think all you mentioned can't be applied wit African religion and make it modern, and to change people's old ages understanding, thoughts and believe about African religion.

With due respect sir. We have debated Oduduwa here countless times between Yorubas and Binis. This is another seemingly clear case because most of the things being uttered are in Yoruba. Can you shed some light on the connection in African Religion between Yorubas and Binis because the deities, Esu, Orunmila, etc have been in existence long before Oduduwa, and also Ifa has been in many parts of Africa before Oduduwa era.
Your thoughts on this would be highly valued. Thank you sir.

I am not offended but will says the truth no matter how bitter it is and how are you sure you are not offending other tribes who believed in IFA and other African religion and why do you think it's only Yoruba that practice African religion. I believe it's not every Babalawo or traditionalist that are evil, same as other religion. Stop generalizing every traditionalist, there are many that attends church n mosque that are so evil, they eat n dine with the devil even pastors n Alfas. I am a Babalawo and am not evil, I fear God n respect him so much.

Ifa a gba e o ja re. Keep up the good work. Ignore the sons and daughters of hatred.

Lol. The civilised and "intelligent" Japanese still practise Shinto and millions around the world practise Buddhism. Did you know that they lay their wares before their gods and make Ebo to them so that their wares can be blessed? They then package and ship them down here in Africa. If our traditional religion is the path he chose to follow, then let's respect his decision. Let's be proud of our heritage.

I can see that you are among of those that likes it. Have you ever seen a person that has a big store that can pose with this kind of sacrifices in front of his or her store? But people always calls for Alfas and Pastors to blessed their shops or stores for them in public during the sales hours. But you can never see a Babalawo in someone shop or store performing sacrifices during the sales hours unless in the midnight or early in the morning before other people will come. So what's the meaning of the sacrifice that its unable to be done in the public during the day time. You better Repent before its too late!
You actually made a very salient point. But the truth is people are "scared" of these things and believe them to not conform to norms of a modern society. You'd be surprised those "rituals" work very well. I've witnessed one before, it was done for a rice importer in Lagos Island. It involved Akara, Ekuru, Epo, Iyo, Sugar, Oyin, some leaves and other harmless things. Imagine if that was done in the open, and an accident happens the following week, we both know the people around her would point accusing fingers towards her for causing it. Africans have left and ignored the path and secrets our fathers handed to us, it's nice to see the likes of the OP being modern about it. This really made my day.

ATR is a recognised religion. if you declare as a deity worshipper you are expected to swear in court or be sworn in by that deity. Nigerians prefer not to do that because of the sharp repercussions and would rather swear by the Bible as God is infinitely merciful..
