You know one thing I ve observed, there's evil everywhere. Take a look at our modern churches now, we have some Pastors and prophets that use evil powers, some even go to the extent of using their members destinies and sealing their fates, I have seen wickedness in churches. Am sure it was so in days past where evil entered our fathers. Some did evil while some were good.
It makes you wonder if there is indeed a God like the bible and hundreds of spiritual texts depicts each religion claiming his own is the creator of the universe. Like you said evil is everywhere, yes evil is everywhere and its a part of how the system was designed for life on this planet earth ( afterall we come here to learn and expand our n
sciousness). Evil teaches you more than good, evil is the ultimate teacher so the biblical story of eden was debunked by this notion. This is a learning ground and without evil no one truly learns. As for me i know there is no religious God but i do not rule out the possibility of a First cause (in otherwords God) . Yahweh, allah, krishna, etc are all nonsense and human inventions. In other note i believe in forces and other dimensions because i've experiensed and seen it all.

I almost gave you a 'like' for this comment, I just don't want all the things and deities he mentioned to focus on my matter grin grin . So, id rather maintain my lane, make him stay him own. Giving 'likes', quoting, or mentions on a special topic like this requires second thought. Ill watch from afar on this one.
grin grin grin grin grin ... you are hilariously wicked

Yes when it is fully consecrated and No when it is not consecrated. A quack or an amateur or a fake babalawo will give you a non-consecrated Opon Ifá which can only be used for entertainment / educational purpose but a renowned babalawo will never give you non-consecrated Opon Ifá because of the risk that goes with it. Because African Tradition Religion is very spiritual.

An Opon Ifá is a divination tray used in Ifá divination and other purposes.

We use the Opon Ifá whenever we want to communicate with the spirits who are able to identify the causes and solutions to personal and collective problems and restore harmony with the spirits.

Opon Ifás are flat and usually circular, between about 6 and 18 inches in diameter, with a raised outer edge carved with figures, objects or geometric designs.

Opon Ifás may also be rectangular, semi-circular or an approximate square.

The top of the tray is called the head, and the bottom, the foot - the latter is typically placed closest to the diviner.

At the head is generally carved with a representation of Esu, the messenger of Ifá and the other spirits.

Certain trays may have additional representations of Esu and trays with two, four, eight and even sixteen faces have been seen.

I attached the photograph of Opon Ifá to my comment.

What are you talking about? If my family have been worshipping idols for many generations, dnt u think I should know how it went? Dnt u think my great grand mother who worshipped some other gods deserves to go to heaven?
Anyway, why bother wt u. Am here to learn.
I hope you are aware of foundational problems faced by many as a result of the gods their fathers worshipped but if you've not experienced any I wonder why you should not let the sleeping dog lay. on the issue of where olden days traditional worshippers will go I don't think you have the discretion to query that because that will not change anything rather you should rather search yourself to know if your way is right with God

It's stranger than true but I personally got my salvation through African traditional religion after years of toil in the catholic church. The "enemies within" mantra is real. Please be very vigilant.

Spiritual husband and wife is a very serious issue. According to a street brother, he once told me that his wife has spiritual husband which really affected his work, Some cause bareness, sickness and so many bad things.

This is base on some belief.
Spiritual husband and wife are myth, urban legends which people use to blame thier failure.

Weldon, MODs for acknowledging Traditional religion. Equality must prevail.

Any Christian or Muslim that has problem with this should go and check his or her brain.

With due respect sir. We have debated Oduduwa here countless times between Yorubas and Binis. This is another seemingly clear case because most of the things being uttered are in Yoruba. Can you shed some light on the connection in African Religion between Yorubas and Binis because the deities, Esu, Orunmila, etc have been in existence long before Oduduwa, and also Ifa has been in many parts of Africa before Oduduwa era.
Your thoughts on this would be highly valued. Thank you sir.
Edos and yorubas share much, divination must have developed together before finally branching off into different types yorubas use Ifa Edos use Iha which is all in bini albeit very old bini. But all these divination systems probably developed together before branching off. So it is possible to see a babalawo in bini who can divine Ifa in Yoruba, Iha in bini, worship olokun, Esu, Ogun, and even Orunmila in edo but Ifa is primarily a Yoruba divination as Iha is a bini one. Though both probably developed together.

It's better you set aside all these idiots and worship the only true God Allah who is the most merciful and the gracious and not all these things you carved yourself and worship like mumu. It's better late than never
The Quran does not teach us to abuse other's faith. Admonish with wisdom and knowledge.
