Hakeem was washing his football kits on a Saturday afternoon,he had just returned from training. He washed while humming his favourite song "Hotline Bling" by Drake. He had so much love for music especially Drake's.

Edward and Khalifa decided to check on him.For it had been a while since they last visited his apartment. They arrived and met him hanging his socks on the ropes that were tight in frontage of his door above. "What's up dude" Edward greeted.

Hakeem was very excited seeing them for at least he has gotten company that will light up his day.Saturdays were very boring for him due to the fact that he was the only guy in his compound and have difficulties in acquainting himself with his neighbours.

They greeted and Hakeem stopped whatever he was doing in other to give his full attention to his friends.

"Come inside guys,I have prepared Edwards favourite: eba and with vegetable soup" Hakeem said,leading the way into his room. He is a very hospitable guy and looks happy all the time like he doesn't have any problem in his life.

"yepppi, like you knew I was visiting, am really famished" Edward said. With the look on his eyes, one could say that Hakeem's food was in trouble.

They served themselves that day because Bella was not with them. She had been the one in charge of that department.
They ate their food slowly except for Edward who devoured it like a lion devouring its prey.

They finished eating and continued gisting, switching from one subject another. Edward decided to tell them about his encounter with Bella. After carefully listening to Edward,Khalifa seemed upset."You mean Bella invited for a date only to tell you this rubbish ? Hmmm and so what did you told her ?" Khalifa asked adjusting his sitting posture in anxiety to know Edward's choice.

"I don't know for you guys,but as for me I think she was right. We need to stop this kind of life. I thought about it and have made a choice of hearkening to her advice. I will find a woman with a noble background, a decent woman that I will love".

The other two friends where shocked by Edward's way responds,the Edward they knew will kick against settling down for any reason.
"What is wrong with you Edward ? No no man you really need to see a doctor because seriously you are sick. God! I can't believe those words came from your mouth" Khalifa said with shock and disappointment written all over his face.

"You don't have to be hard on him man. its his choice to settle down, I guess he is entitle to his decision right ?. As for me, all I wanna do is party". Hakeem said looking indifferent.

They kept arguing and at last agreed to respect each other's decisions and choice. Edward stood to his word while Khalifa would not quit flirting for anything. Hakeem on the other hand insisted that no one should try to advise him to stop partying for it was an impossibility.

They continued living their lives according to the choices each have made. Khalifa was drowning in the ocean of womanizing while Hakeem's love for parties grew stronger.

Edward on the other hand began a new life of decency. He really changed into a very responsible man,there was no more clubbing and bedwarming. He focused his attention towards his books at thesame time waiting for the right woman for him.Bella was very pleased with this new life of his which made her got closer to him the more,she was always caring in any possible way she could. Edward's behaviour towards her was that of a friend and never intended on extending it beyond. But looking at things from Bella's perspective, she was having a second reason for being so friendly if not, why didn't she treated Hakeem and Khalifa like she did Edward ?. Anyway Edward never seem to notice anything.

Edward was on his way to the market one faithful morning, he was alone because Hakeem was in the field while Khalifa had a female visitor that had visited the previous day.

He was walking on the way that led through the Student's Chapel when he heard a voice calling from behind.The voice was strange so he couldn't identity who it was. He turned and saw s lady almost reaching out to him" Mr,Mr, wait a minute" She manage to say while gasping for air,she probably most have been following him from afar."Your wallet fell on the ground and I have been following you for some minutes but you are too fast thats why I had to run" she said giving the wallet to him and turning to live.

Edward was very grateful to her, it was a thing of surprise that a student will pick a wallet on the ground and return it to the owner. He collected the wallet gently from her but before he could say a word she had already left. He tried calling her to say a proper thank you but to no avail.

He walk to the market still surprised. It was when she left that he remembered she was very beautiful, he was so shocked about the wallet that he didn't pay attention on her looks. Her voice was so amazing, he still recall how it sounded when she said "Mr,Mr,please wait for a minute" he smiled and shook his head. "But why didn't she even so we could at least know each others names ? Edward thought, getting confused. " I will look for her and appreciate her kind gesture" he concluded.

He wore his best outfits and was looking so ravishing. He set out and waited for his friends at there usual meeting place. His friends didn't wasted much time before coming out, they had eight eight o'clock lectures and Mr William will tolerate no late coming.

They walked as fast as there legs could move, before five minutes,they were already in school. on getting to school they found out that the lecture had been postponed till twelve pm.

Khalifa and Hakeem complained of hunter.They didn't had breakfast due to the rush so they left for the cafeteria to get some food.
Edward and Bella went to sit under trees where they normally rest when they had free hours.
"wow, sorry I didn't even comment on your looks, you are looking so handsome Edward".Bella complimented while sitting beside Edward.

"Thank you ma'am, but I know that long ago. You ve said it a million times".Edward said touching her hair.

"Am fine" she replied as usual. Bella was very good when it comes to pretending but not with Hakeem.He has a way of understanding someone who was having problems unlike Edward who usually seem blind. He understood that Bella was not okay but pretended to agree with her since she wasn't ready to share her problem.
"By the way where is Edward ?"Hakeem asked looking around as if Edward is a piece of paper that could fall on the floor.

"He went to check on a girl he said he met during the weekend"Bella replied. Hakeem.noded and seemed like he just realise the reason behind Bella's attitude.
