Sharon had gotten home the following day after Edward left with his friends. She was delayed because she had to submit their group's assignment being the leader.

She happens to also come from the city of Kafanchan. Her dad worked with a one of the most famous companies in town. He was the hard working type and didn't even had much time for his family. He was ready to clear every obstacle that would come between him and his work.

Bella on the other hand didn't grew with her parents, she attended high school in abroad and so didn't knew much about her dad's business. She came home after graduating and insisted on completing her studies in Nigeria and KADSU to be precise.

Chief Nicolas was ready for work that day and invited Bella to go with him so as to get familiar with some of his business activities since she knew just little about it.

She was dressed like a princess adorn with all manners of jewels. She cat walked beside her dad holding him and moving towards the car's door.They drove to the company's buildings. Bella couldn't stop admiring the big and beautiful buildings around.

He decided to take her to introduce her to his secretary whom he trusted with everything. They walked pass many doors before getting to the office of the secretary.

(knocks on the door) "yes come inside" the voice inside welcomed.
The door opened and the two walked in. The secretary was with another lady whose face was not visible due to the flowers beside the couch.
"Good morning sir, and to what do I owe this visit ?" The secretary asked in surprise.
"Morning Mr Alex, I guess its not a sin for a boss to visit his employees ?" Nicolas replied adjusting his suit.
"Not really sir" Alex responded "uhmmm pardon my manners sir, meet my daughter Sharon the one I have always told you about that is studying at the state's capita" he said pointing at Sharon.

Just when Sharon's name was mentioned, Bella's heart beat increased immensely. She shifted to a direction where she could see the ladies face clearly. She was shocked to see Sharon smiling at her.
"Oh your daughter is so beautiful, how I wish I had a son, they would have been a perfect pair" Nicolas said in admiration of Sharon.
"I actually came here to show you Bella my daughter, the only child and hope of my family." he said pointing at Bella who was still shocked.

The secretary was very pleased seeing Bella. Being the very ambitious type, he was already thinking on how to get his daughter close and acquainted with Bella. He was later shocked when he realised they knew each other from school, his heart almost blew out with joy,he knew that their friendship could yield favours for him and possibly take him to a higher position at the company.

Edward couldn't stop thinking about his love Sharon. He couldn't wait for the holiday to be over so that they could be together again. He thought of her beautiful face, her angelic voice, her curved figure and most importantly her kind heart. His heart melt, he couldn't help but smile alone.

His mum (Elizabeth) watched him smiling alone. She knew instantly that there was something she needed to know.
"My son tell me... what is it that has been .making you happy ? You seemed to be more excited than usual. Tell me what I should know"

"Mum am fine"Edward replied trying to look normal.

"you have been smiling alone here and your telling me you are fine ? She insisted.

Edward got fed up and decided to open up his affair with Sharon to his mum. He told her when and how they met, the problems they had etc. He made sure he didn't skipped anything.
She was happy for him but as usual advised him to be careful.

His mum was silent for while, she seemed to be in deep thoughts, before some minutes she was already shading tears.Edward didn't understood what was going on. His mum had been like that since he was small, she seemed to be carrying a lot of burden in her heart but will pretend to be alright when been asked.

"Mum whats bordering you ? tell me am your son. Even though daddy is dead am here, you don't have to feel alone." Edward comforted her. He didn't had to wait for her to tell him why she was crying before comforting her because he knew she will attribute it to her husband's death.
Edward was not convinced about his mother's reason for always crying was just about his dad's death but he was convinced that his mum was keeping something from him.He had a lot of questions in his mind that he intended on finding answers to.
He had observed that they were alone and didn't had any relative. There tribe was different from that of others. There house was at the outskirts of the village and they didn't attended village meetings.
He was determined to know what was happening but his mum shouldn't be pressured so as not to cause any health problems to her

Bella got still shocked about bumping on Sharon at the office. She wondered how she could manipulate the situation into her favour since Sharon's dad is her father's employee. She thought of many ways of executing her plan so as to live no traces and arouse no suspicions. She nodded her head as if an idea had just crept into her brain. She decided not to involve their parents yet until things were beyond her control.

Sharon was happy she had met Bella at least holidays won't be boring, she had complete trust on Bella and never for once suspected she was in love with Edward. Bella on the other hand had been so mean to Sharon ever since they met during the holiday. it seemed like she was only pretending to be nice at school because of Edward but now he wasn't there so she had nothing to fear.
Sharon didn't realised it, she seemed to find difficulties in reading the writings on the wall just like Edward. She was finally shocked when she had an encounter with Bella.
It was on a Sunday evening, people had returned from church service and as usual were bored. Sharon received a call from Bella announcing a visit. Sharon was so excited on hearing the news,.at least she will find get someone to talk to. She rushed into the kitchen and prepared food to entertain her with.
A knock was heard on the door, Sharon rushed to check. Behold, there stood Bell.
"Wow,.welcome to my humble abode" she gestured her hands ushering Bella into the sitting room.
"You have a nice place"Bella complimented staring around the room.
"Thank you, you must be famished, lets go ahead, food is ready at the dinning table"
They proceeded to the table and wasted no time before devouring the hot jollof rice and chicken that was served. They ate while talking about different issues.

"How is Edward ? have you been communicating ?" Bella asked anxiously.
"Of course we have, you know your friend won't allow me rest with his calls..He calls in every morning to be sure am fine, and before bed to wish me goodnight" she replied with smiles and pride on her face.
"Oh I see" Bella muttered.

"You, how about your boyfriend ?,who is the lucky guy?" Asked Sharon.

"Hmmmm I don't have a boyfriend" she snapped changing countenance.

"You don't mean it, do you ?" Sharon asked with awe. How could a beautiful girl of Bella's age be single ?.

Bella was already burning in anger. She had endured enough and was ready to be nasty.
" I really didn't came here to be interrogated about my life, I am here to warn you off my love Edward, I have endured enough...I spend my entire first year in school trying all possible best to make him notice me but no. He never gave me a second glance, my position remained that of a friend. I fought so hard in transforming him from a flirt to the decent man you see today,.and now what ?,You came from nowhere and snatch him away. You have to stay away from him if you want your dad to continue working under my father's company or else....., I don't give empty threats, so for the sake of your family, stay away from.Edward."

Sharon was finally ok, the fever had left her but she was still worried. She taught of telling Edward. She was scrolling her contacts when she received a message from Bella that read "Not a word of this must get to Edward". She bursted into tears after reading the message.
She was caught in the middle of a difficult situation. Her family depended on her dad's monthly salaries for all their needs, they will be broke if he should be sacked. Her mum is just a house wife.
she remembered Edward. His endless love and affection towards her. Edward won't live her if he was to be in her position, she was really confused on what to do.
Sharon is the easily threatened type and was so scared of Bella. What she saw in Bella's eyes was not a joke, she meant every word she said.

Edward missed his love dearly, the holiday was remaining just a week and he couldn't just wait to see his love. He dialled her number several times but she didn't picked. He was getting worried about her, he couldn't concentrate. He called a million times but still no one was picking up.
Edward spend two good days without talking to Sharon. on the third day, Edward was overwhelmed when he called and she picked.
"Hello Sharon, how are you ?, are you okay ? please talk to me".
on hearing his voice, she bursted into tears again, she couldn't talk to him so she hung up immediately so that he won't notice her grieve. She later texted him that she was fine.
Edward was not convinced about her excuse. If she is fine then why won't she speak with him. He tried calling again but her line was off. Edward decided to patiently wait till they resume.
