My first advice to you is don't support your wife, she may be at fault,
Second thing is report your sister to helders of your family. to return her certificate .
I suspect your wife is at fault and your sister mess up. So unit them

Young Man, you are too soft for reacting late, you would have face her immediately by giving her a run for what she has done. others will equally have the opportunity to abuse your wife like that. if any of your family member have any issue with your wife, your attention should be sorted out before any face-off with your wife, any face-off with your wife among to lack of respect for you. be a man and deal with any situation that comes up immediately.

the best form of defence is attack. Only cowards will run away. Op should defend what rightly belongs to him.

I have been married for only three years. And marriage has taught me some things.
See, I feel it is better to handle this with wisdom of correct elders. Sometimes, it is less stressful, time-saving, result-achieving and smart to stoop to conquer.
I have never been in your shoes, so I can't really advise you. But I will suggest the following:
1. Resist the pressure from people to involve the police, SARs, etc. Your family (wife and son) won't be spared from the consequences.
2. Could you please move your family out of your mom's house?
3. Learn to pray alone, and with your wife. Pray for protection, courage and wisdom.
4. Until you move out of the family house, let your family stay elsewhere whenever your sister is visiting.
5. Would you mind lovingly telling your wife never to answer back an in-law, and especially this sister of yours? There are a million ways to get back at people, even without words.

As a rider, what has your mom done to help your own family recover the alleged stolen items?

Somebody beat your wife, tore her clothes and your baby's wears, seized her certificate, and you are asking whether you should call her first because she is your senior? Are you a man at all? No wonder she had the audacity to beat your wife in the first place. What have you not locked her up since she doesn't want to provide the certificates? Get her locked up. Escalate this issue to the larger family (umunna). By now I am.wondering why you have not even beaten her up yourself. Na your wife I dey even pity. Grow some balls!!!!

Dude, I recollect this story and I'm shocked you are still at daggers drawn with this troublesome sister of yours.

My advise: NEVER succumb to oppression! else you'll kill the man in you.

She ought to call you, NOT the other way round. I'm just wondering, if you call first, what exactly will be your line of discourse? " I called to plead with you to kindly apologize to me" undecided or Please beg me na? I Don't get it. angry Is there no man in you at all.

If at all you have any reason to call, an sms will do giving her a STRONG ULTIMATUM to release the certificate she is confiscating on/before (state deadline) else you'll involve the police. Some of the women we have around us nowadays, if you don't sternly handle their insolence, you'll have yourself to blame. The moment they see you as a sissy, they'll have no regard or respect for you and turn you into a vegetable.

Let your wife take up the issue of seized certificate with her and give her ALL the support you can - except if she wants us to believe that she doesn't need her certificates anymore. If possible, visit a police station, tender your grievance with evidences (since all effort to resolve it amicably through the family way has been thwarted). I remember you took pictures, present them as evidences. You may not lock her up (just based on family values/sentiments - but I think she deserves to be locked up if you ask me, even if it's just for a day or 2). You really need to drill some fear into this sister of yours.

I appreciate every gentle man, but sometimes people take gentility for cowardice. I'll always advise is that, for such people who take quietness for weakness, teach them a lesson that for every coin, there are two sides - you can be a gentle man and at the same time, blow hot when the need arises - Not until this point is proven, they will not restrain their craze when they meet you o!
gbam , God bless you Bro

The best thing to do is to arrest your her. Before you release make sure she write letter of undertaking that if she touches your wife in any way, you will make sure she rot in jail

I laugh in Chinese. Selfish and crazy because I don't understand your writing. Jealous of your opinion? You have not written anything worth my time that is in the least sensible and comprehendible. When you can spell elders, formal and message, then you will have gotten to the level to tie my laces. And if you want to f u c.k, I can help you out to relieve your pent up fury.
