I am saying, let's all marry our kind of spouses. I said once that my husband is the head of the home but none is superior or inferior to the other, some people countered me politely and we understood each other. Then on posts like this, people come screaming how feminist are frustrated and won't last in marriage, because they don't believe in headship in a marriage.... That's why I made that sarcastic post you quoted.

There is a spouse for everyone. As long as mutual respect exist, people can always find their way around other things.

On the contrary, i knew my mum inside out. As a kid, i woke up with mum as early as past 6 and till 8pm, it's me and mum. Most of my life lessons i learnt, were the teachings she raised me with if i look back at those times, she was a banker, but wasn't wrestling headship with dad, not for a single day.


She even managed the home on free hand. Pops was always busy with work. In fact, she managed pops biz, she managed it from 8am till 4pm, 4pm when pops arrive he manages it till close of the day, These talks breeds fears and insecurities that are unfounded, it makes the ladies think of the worst even when there's nothing to be scared of, it's the spooky feeling the guys are talking about.

Trust me, i've always stood up for female emancipation, but the whole feminism drives a wedge in relationships and chokes the life in it. I've been there, i know what i'm talking about.

It's not everything adults face/deal with that kids should be exposed to.
Judge your mum by her role as a mother, your dad as a father. Their relationships as man and woman is a different aspect to who they are.
