its not about right. Feminism in this part of the world has never been about right.. don't get it twisted. Its about humans here. Understanding human behavior is key in surviving. Your behavior most times is a reflection of the kind of environment you have found yourself. I know many ladies dont like to hear the truth, I rapport with them every otherday. It is impossible to live at the mercy of a human and think you can make judgments just as much as he/she can. Its not about gender now. feminism in the western world is more of workplace equality- this is very possible because there are labor laws that an be amended to suit this cause. They conquered the marriage aspect a long time ago with the law of one man, one wife and divorce cases favoring the women- How were they able to do this- the women made sure they were independent enough and rose to the point of being law makers and making laws. Feminism in Africa is more maritail/relationship concerned- it will never work because you are dependent. it is more blessed to be the giver than to be the receiver, the borrower is slave to the lender! Until African women start taking full responsibility for themselves, rising to having as much position in the law making institutions, NOT making marriage a priority or seeing marriage as an escape from a particular problem , feminism in African will be a dead cause of arrival!

What y'all can't get into your thick skull is that feminism has come to stay whether anybody likes it or not. The world is changing everyday. The earth keeps rotating ND revolving round the sun. Change is very dynamic and if any guy of this particular 21st century cant accept the fact that women cant still be like as they were around the 18,19,20th century, then I'm very sorry for such guy. With the advent of science ND technology and more exposure into the modern world with women been a part of this. We've all come to realise how much more we are worth ND can be as full-fledged humans. Marriage is a partnership these days. It's a good thing to get married. Yes. The two individuals should accept themselves first, submit to each other, not one claiming head of house everytime because he has a penis.
Whether you like it or not FEMiNIsM has come to stay, if y'all are behaving like this now in 2017 , I wonder how y'all will cry in 2050 when we've finally taken over (as equals).

I have seen men who have placed themselves low to the instructions of their wives because she is the bread winner. That is how they chose their life but what got me intrigued is they raised lovely kids. The kids are doing extremely well and they show great respect for their Dad. Marriage is not a battle between the parties involved, it is no competition. It is an institution ordained to fulfill life. the earlier the African "feminist" realise this, the better for them.

You can stop your clock (even turn back the hands as far as you want) and build a bubble for yourself in your home, where you can rest your feet on your wife's head. This is where you got it all wrong. I don't know why many of you start making baseless and irrelevant points especially when the issue of feminism is discussed. The write-up is talking about something else and you're saying a different thing entirely

Do you know that the reason why many ladies of today divorce is because they can't stand the storm of marriage.? With time, you will get to understand that things are not as sweet as you've always fantasized. You will soon get to know that there are storms in marriages and only the strong ones can survive it. It's something you will face unless you are team "marriage is not for me"

Then you will realize all these "I can't take this, I can't do that" attitude will not save you.
