You ain't got no option than loading Fidelity Bank my friend . The figures are there.

Let me burst your bubble. I have thoroughly reviewed Fidelity. They will not pay more than 25kobo dividend this year. Expect a very sharp fall after that dividend expectation wanes off.

Please @ Fxuser and Bullbear what is the chart saying about Lafarge/Wapco .
thanks.
...WAPCO seems to have found a bottom at 43.40 grin and in the last 2 days Bears continue to tear apart all the Bulls' plans to move the price above previous resistance at 47.30 there about. It's all between Bulls and Bears. Bulls wins by breaking previous resistance (or continue to consolidate/range between 45 - 47.30) on high volume while Bears dominate with price re-testing previous support at 43.40 or lower.
-Short term; the stock is bullish
-Medium term, stock is bearish but strengthening
-Long term are bearish

Like every other good stock such as uba, gtb, zenith, fbnh, access, dangote sugar/flour etc...it is expected that the price will go down before/after closure date.

But it is also an opportunity for discerning investors after due diligence to load more in expectation of a good q1 2018 result which could lead to further appreciation in price.

Is there anyone with all these listed stocks here?
You must contest for a governorship post in your state in 2019.

No be by having all in someone portfolio, its by % of each holding in someone's portfolio.

Disc: I have all the 4 in my portfolio and they all summed up to just 8% of my entire portfolio. I was actually waiting for a pull back to buy more, lo and behold, they all picked race.

Fidelity, diamond and Fcmb as at the closing price of yesterday (2nd January 2018). Theirs should near or surpass 10%.

Others will be sub 6%.

Though Access can go above 6% based on closing price of yesterday.

FBN was projected @ N13.5 by Capital Bancorp, @ N13.0 by FBN Securities

@emmanuelewumi. i guess it's time for me to get back in. I got out of FBN at 7 Naira after making a modest profit. I was expecting GTB share price to drop due to the Innoson saga. I guess their results will tell if their business was negatively affected.

With all these dividend expectations from the banks, I hope we have not forgotten BASEL 3 round the corner.

Too early to know the impact on GTB. I think the proceeding is still on. Until court decides or they settle out of court.

Good morning all. I have been following the posts on this thread for sometime now, and I may have to say that you all are doing a great job.

But, please I need you all professional advice. While working, I was able to acquire some stocks which I never sell but relies on dividends, but I am out of job at the moment, Please will it be professionally wise if I should sell the stocks and use the money to engage in buying and selling of shares for a short term. I really need to be making money to train my children.
Please your input are needed.

Diamond doesn't have a negative retained earnings. So they can still pay out something.

The settlement no go pass N20b.

Otherwise FG go intervene to prevent a run!

GTB is a SIB.

Do you get up to N5m from dividends
Which stocks are you holding?
What is your family size?
What is the amount of rent you pay?
Where do you live?

I asked this because of these reason: imagine I'm out of job and I have a portfolio size of N3m and I get dividend of 500k and I live in Lekki and pay N2m rent. If I have a family size of 3 ((including myself), based on the information, people can advise you to leave Lekki to save cost on rent, then they can now help you rejig your portfolio. Advice will come better if the context is properly understood.

At this point, you need to lower expenses as fast as possible.

I will remind you of this quote in coming weeks. The good thing is that the class of investors buying DF now are those who won't sell even with a N3 climb.

Word!
Though fully loaded in Fide too.
