Has Buhari left Nigeria?

why the sudden change in your talk?

You once said that as long as Buhari is president the stock markets will never do well... sad

Yes for oil to be selling @circa $70 that simply means that NAIRA is undervalued.

And the major reason HOT MONEY is massively hopping into NSE..

I agree with you on this. Even if most stocks get to their 2014 high, they will still be selling at half (in dollar term)

The last time crude sold for $70 that was Nov 2014 Naira was exchanging btw N200 & N250 official and black market respectively.

SO LETS DO THE MATHEMATICS.

- u wud note the RSi sneaked into oversold levels on d daily wt a price break above the N50 level
- the weekly RSI is also gradually making its to a 3 yr high (wh is a great signal),
- its building up nicely

dont hv any . just observing

We will gradually exchange ALL saw dust for firewood in due course, .... grin
It takes firewood some time to catch fire, but once it does, we are sure of charcoal, by then, saw dust will become ashes.

Let the timeframes continue to align and the indicators resolve their disharmony .. grin

I will put this on my watchlist.

Great job ur doing.

Infact am even scared of whats going on in this market presently, like seriously, are these real money or bloody money flowing into NSE?

1) TBills rates are not longer attractive, and it has affected Money Market mutual funds too. Today for instance, I have pulled over N2m from my Mutual Fund into the market. Now think of guys like me who have done similarly.

2) Oil Price is equally surging.
3) Investors' (local and foreign) sentiments are increasingly positive
4) Foreign reserve now above USD40bn

More funds will come in as results begin to come in between now and May undoubtedly. And the banks will do well because of the juicy TBills rates of 2017!

For me, I am creating real access to acquire more ACCESS! You know what I mean?

Kudos everyone

Even people wey never post anything in over a year are now active.

price breaks above major resistance lines are good
but we shud expect to pull back to that line for a retest in some / most cases
after which some mkt consolidation and then continuation
that pull back will shake out the poor entries and weak hands (its all part of the consolidation

TA
a strong pull away shud also expect a pull back (some light , some heavy), den some consolidation before continuation
its a bumpy ride , wear ur seat belt

So ACCESS has already done nearly 120M in volume !! ...is alright then.

My 2 cent on the recent upsurge in the market;

From an economic perspective, while I still think that not so much has been done by this government on the fiscal front, am inclined to believe that the monetary front leaves little doubt in the mind of any sane investor on where to plunge in their funds. ...its clear that there has been more net fund import to export, and there will likely be more as the yield curve on other invest-able income security gradually heads downwards.
Again the recent surge in the price of oil had acted up as a good buffer and indicator as to where funds should go. (always imperative to keep an eye on the price of oil).
...And of course the nse will always be one sure benefactor.
What we are experiencing now is not out place because during the downturn, most fundamentally sound coys plunged far beyond their intrinsic value. ...and so its normal that with the recent change in tide, it wouldn't be long before the effect of reprising sets in.
Will the current trend continue? ...Yes am inclined to believe so because most stocks are selling at a huge discount from fair value. ...especially when u consider the fact that some of those fair values are still at a quite big enough range from their current prices.
Will there be bumps on the way? ...certainly yes for there is no such thing as an absolute trend ...in a stock market there will always be slight pull back off from any given direction even when the trend is headed the opposite lane. ...thats what makes for the dynamism in a market and we saw that happen in a few stocks today even the much respected Dangote Flour (I believe it will continue its way up).

That said, I think the ultimate goal should be for all of us to have a plane and ensure we stick to it. ...Like I always say, if u fail to have a plane for the market, then the market will create one for u. ...and often times it could be a bad one.
may that not be our lot !!
