Recently, I have noticed that people everywhere are now speaking against pastors and imams everywhere. Some even go as far as abusing God and its sad to think of that in a country that once used to see an atheist as the devil incarnate now has citizens that are atheist..

What is happening?
Is Atheism really gaining ground?
Or science is opening people's eyes?
Maybe we are tired of lies that priests spit out of their mouths?

Yes it is.
People are becoming logical, free or critical thinkers.
It is a free world after all everyone cannot be religious.
We should learn to be tolerant of other people's beliefs.

No greater deception than an Israelite who died for an African man's sins.

There are improvements but more needed to be done. Many are still living under fear. Even when tbey freely stay away from church and mosques, and outrightly criticize pastors, they are still living under fear. The church and mosque are intensifying their campaign. They have taken over the airwave, internet, television and print. Every corners is filled with churches. The Muslims too are coming out, debating with Christian and hosting ministration in the locality. However, we have reasonable anti-religionist in their numbers than atheist

Also I should point out that overwhelming majority of atheists and irreligious people I know in real life actually put on a façade of being a theist to others due to the same fear (which isn't unfounded)

Nigeria has tons of fanatics and religion extremists who cannot fathom and absorb denial of God from anybody. I know this because I have challenged a pastor in the church once. The sibject was Esu been Satan. Many of the church members who greeted and welcomed me deserted me. Also, when, i was looking for job. I knew my boss was a fanatic church decon. She asked me which church I attended. She doesn't want to know if I were a Christian or Muslim. I simplh told her CAC and she asked me to join her in RCCG. I have to agree just to have pay. After many years, I had to reveal my non-acceptance of religion slowly and without hurting her. That is how things work pending the time people will not be judge base on religion

Then it will be too late for them.

They will be in hell with the devil being tortured while we rejoice in heaven with Jesus.

Those who will not learn will surely burn.

It is well.

Your religion (Christianity) teaches that someone who doesn't believe in the existence of God but lived a normal life will go to hell ,while someone who killed and raped numerous women will go to heaven because he repented.

That alone is one powerful reason why atheism is gaining ground.

You may gain all the earthly ground you desire.

It matters not.

Soon Hell will be your portion.

Heaven will be ours!

The DOCTUFOS BOOK OF HISTORY has predicted a time when religion will fade away and give way to people to use their minds to do things. Atheism is just one of the sects using their minds to think, reason and opine. We also have irreligious sects, thinkers, philosophers and those who don't care at all. The irony of it all is that IT IS THE WAY FORWARD.
