THIS IS TRUE, FOR MANY GIRLS. BUT,

THERE'S NO HARM IN BUYING "YOUR GIRL" THE THINGS YOU CAN AFFORD.

There is more to this matter than meets the eye.

The truth is that most men understand the concept whether the admit it or not.

The fact is that they don't want to be played a fool by providing for a woman that will then just dump them or jump to another man when they have used them up. Let's not pretend there are not women out there who do such.

A man gives his women money for upkeep but what of the return (If as a woman you are reading this and your mind says "I'm giving him sex" then Its a shame). This is just my experiences so I AM NOT SPEAKING ABOUT ALL WOMEN. Sex doesn't keep a man. Looks don't keep a man. Ask Celebrities.

One former girlfriend said such a sentence to me a few years back. I was in Abuja and knew in my spirit that I wasn't the only guy she was seeing. She said I should provide for makeup, hair, clothes. I didn't provide for all but gave her something. As God is my witness she admitted to me last week that she was seeing others. So wasnt I justified in what I did?

My point is here that many of the women that complain about such are the ones you should be wary of. Big red flag. There are too many good women out there to settle. Find one. Treat her right and this wont be an issue. You will do it happily.

Why do women waste time to acquire skills then? I.e. Education

Shouldn't every woman just end up In the kitchen then, since women go into relationship mainly for stability?

you're not far from it..

your advice should be; anybody that isn't financially stable shouldn't go into relationships...

broke babes shouldn't date... broke guys shouldn't date

#they should go and sort themselves out

Pple must date irrespective of their financial status bt d motive and benefits should be clearly stated and agreed upon by both parties even b4 venturing into it.

exactly!

why attend a university when you don't intend to use the degree to add to your country's economy?

why not stay at home and beautify yourself? a man will still come for you..

sending most naija ladies to school is a waste of resources, I still stand by this stance..

marriage is their top priority in life..
The late Nelson Mandela once said" education is a powerful weapon which can be used to change the world".

It is a tool meant for liberation and self sufficiency.

Therefore, nobody should have a sense of entitlement after the acquisition of education, otherwise Mandela must have been lying when he made that statement.

Take it from me, a girl with that kind of attitude is bad news ooo........ she is more interested in the “benefit” than the relationship, she sees relationships as an avenue to make ends meet...... and the part that killed me was when she said “ you are fucking her” madam Bleep no b favor if you want us to pay for the Bleep, just stand for road and tell us the price for short time easy!!! Nope come form relationship here then begin ask for money for sex.

She is saying If the guy isn’t well to do she will cheat and lie.... like wtf are you talking? Take it from me no matter what you do for this kind of girl the very minute she sees a “ flashy” guy is willing to spend more on her, she will move on .... cos she sees the relationship as an means of lively hood.... a new richer guy is like a job promoting to her..... all she has to offer is sex! Sex!! Sex!!! Nothing more .

By their fruits.... we shall know then.

Giving money to ones gf is a favour, a privilege to that girl by no mean is it a right ......................

Go argue with your ancestors
What is the essence of a relationship if you’re not benefiting from it? I hate to sound somehow, but honestly I feel like you guys are not being honest with yourselves. Sex is not a favour to you guys, yet you persue it more than money sef. Sex is basically like food to men. After basic amenities like food and water sex should be next for men. Women don’t persue sex in the same manner.

The same way if you meet a woman who can prepare your favourite meal and coook better, throw it down in the bedroom more, looks better, wouldn’t you opt for the better option? Wouldn’t that be more of a ‘wife’ to you? Not justifying cheating but if she decides to leave for a man who can do a better job as a provider, she has the right to do so. Jeez you guys are becoming so sensitive.

Date an independent lady and you wouldn't have this issue ,my opinion.

Guys leave all these slay queens alone. You will keep arguing till tomorrow. Get yourself professional lady; doctor, pharmacist, engineer, the issue of "you have to spend money on me" wouldn't come up.

Independent ladies want providers and men that take care of them,no excuse. Unless you want a feminist who will do 50/50 with you on everything, maybe that’s what you’re looking for. There’s no problem with that either.

Una wey dey put women on monthly allowance/salary under the guise of gwefwend keep on doing it oocheesy. The money ur parents send to u for school fees u will be giving it a girl for her monthly upkeep or the little money u earn as a worker ..instead of u to save some of it and use to further urself in school u will be using the money to feed a woman. Take a look at young men who make it a vocation in their life being financial footholds for women..they never progress in life. Na d level wey dem dey ten yrs ago dem go still dey jus cos all their time, energy and emotion they invest it on womencheesy. If u have extra u can give but never make it a monthly or weekly issue giving money to a woman under the tag of girlfriend allowance.if u are a young man paying monthly allowance to a woman just cos she gives u a Mouth Gig u be mumucheesy.

My friend, the few ladies I have meant don't have this mentality "my bf has to take care of me" these sets of ladies are those with professional degree esp those in the medical sciences they are well learnt and are not a feminist either. All they say "I will support my bf".

Just because you & your friends have that thought doesn't mean every girl does. I wouldn't try to change your mindset.

Education is not only about educating yourself academically. Just want you to understand that. We go to school for different reasons. However, as a woman theres nothing wrong with having your own money. Actually, its very very important to have your own life and income outside your relationship. If a man is going to come into my life though, he must contribute financially, its a must. If im going to accept his proposal, theres must be a substantial gain on my end.

& that's wrong!
u might not be the only one she's dating.she might have six or seven other niggas dat she's in a relationship with.so weda u even start giving her monthly allowance or u refuse giving her it doesn't even make any difference sef.

if they dont say they think it. And if youre not showing that youre financially able to be a husband or father then they’ll leave you for someone who will be. Unless youre talking to teenagers.

ehn but after the relationship hits the rock u see them running to social media crying that they spent 200k on their girlfriend but she still dumped them or dat they sponsored her in school but she called off the relationship after she graduated. Its amazing dat some dudes struggling with their monthly upkeep will place a girl on a daily monthly allowancecheesy. Dats why such guys find it hard to focus and develop themselvescheesy.

Then you've got to make sure you're the only one. Theres no way a woman can date six guys at once and you wont see some signs. Wisen up!
