Congrats to the spanking IELTS results that I have been seeing here ALL DAY (I dey envy una ooo, See results, maka why? You dey make am do me as if make I go re-take the test sef, for bragging right sake! grin grin)

To those who almost clinched it, several of our family members here in pages previous, have said alot to encourage you and keep your focus from dimming on the goal...it is a marathon ooo, this hustle is never a sprint...the steady and consistent carries the day most often!
Indians get to do the test 9-10 times on a regular (speaking to an average Indian's tenacity and staying power)...as it has been said of our educational system not to be top notch with global best standards, we hardly see that type of experiences here...most folks here get a hang of the test by a 2nd-3rd attempt, we ain't doing badly comparatively on this immi-joni.

I wish everyone needing to re-take overwhelming success in the next attempt. For those going the EOR route, favour for upgrade and standard turn-around remarking time for you.

Ultimately, it will all end in praise IJN!

By which time the window period for EOR application would've been exceeded. I think it's safe for him to apply for a remark now.

@Reasonabledoubt, what's your profile creation date?

Nice point.

...and nice enquiry from @reasonabledoubt regarding his profile creation date.

Assuming @reasonabledoubt has a profile creation date of July 2017 or older, he can wait on the next 2 draws (hoping that the tie breaking rule in a worst case scenario will work in his favour) after which if the cut-off doesn't drop to favour him, he can then elect to re-mark.

It will end in praise IJN!

End date has got to be the date on your certificate. In this case, it's 2016. It doesn't matter if the program was billed to run for 1 calendar year. If you do not meet the full requirements for the award of such a degree/diploma, you're not leaving at the end of the initially proposed time. So, it's safer to go for 2013-2016
Your answers are similar to Ronaldo's hattrick against spain..top notch..lolzszz.. thanks alot.

Good Evening family,

A close friend of mine submitted her application today (AOR) but realised she forgot to include her deceased dad in the immediate family members section. She raised a CSE immediately after AOR today stating this was erroneously ommited and also included her deceased dad's relevant details in the CSE.

Should she withdraw the application from fear of misrepresentation?

Thanks
Does she go back into the pool if she withdraws or the EE profile would've expired? Is her CRS high enough to guarantee ITA? Since she has raised a CSE almost immediately , i think it's fine. Others will weigh in

Congratulations!!!

Please I have a few questions I want to ask you.

I just started the process with my family too and we plan to make my wife the principal applicant cos of her age.

My question now is, can we apply for PNP with this score while she attempt IELTS again?

Is the score good enough for PNP?
She can have a profile with her current score. Each PNP has it's requirements. Your PNP questions can be answered https://www.nairaland.com/4180147/all-canadian-provincial-nominee-programs#62433299

Hello everyone,

Please I need your input. If a dependent spouse is not claiming points for education and work experience,is it ok if she answers no to the questions below when the primary applicant is creating a profile?

Does... have any post secondary education ?
Does... have any work experience?

I feel like if they answer no, there won't add it to their checklist.

I'm trying to avoid having to fly down from Enugu to abuja or Lagos.
Can it be sent via courier since biometrics are not required till July 31,2018
And then there are lots of charges? To see have to pay all or just the application fees? For a family of 3 but one person isn't going along

Hello guys,

I am trying to know where my application is being processed. can anyone help with that? I have sent mail with my application detail to cic.ottawa..... but i keep getting an auto response.

thats normal. they should reply you after some days or weeks depending on how busy they are. In the event that they never reply, you can order for your GCMS, it would furnish you with the necessary detail.

Yes. You will include the details under the personal history section when you get an invitation to apply.

I don't agree, remarking takes 3 months to come out and it is very possible that in three months which is = 6 draws, that the score might drop to 440. Best for you wait and hope. Besides score increase in writing is not guaranteed!!!

BC now takes less than 2weeks for EOR.
Give it a shot

Having dis same ish ooo. Had my Ms.c in 2013/2014. Finished all my course work in 2014 but Cldnt finish my thesis cos I got a job shortly after. Just submitted my thesis in January 2017 and My certificate carries January 2017.
Am worried CIC might want to question how I ran a full time degree program with a full time employment.

A little concern, guys. In stating the period of your study, which is most appropriate? From the year u started to the year u finished or from the year u started to the year the degree was awarded? I had a PGD in 2013 which was expected to be for just a year but submitted my thesis in 2015 and was awarded the degree in 2016. On my transcript, it was stated 2016 as the year the degree was awarded. Please what becomes of the study period? from 2013 to 2015 abiii from 2013 to 2016 and what becomes of the full academic year? cos i know this IRCC guys can be so meticulous. cc: mcstan18, tojued

In my opinion, you can state it on your LOE that you were done with coursework and had to pick up a full time job. Also depends on how many years you are claiming
