Mr man u not a good cook truly .....Rules 1 of a good cook as long as you re good in cooking anyother food below your taste standard is not it.....I dont see a reason why complain i cook more than my wife and am teaching her how to very well..So teach her or cook for her let her stand and watch you doing it for a start grin

Hi! For the sake of anonymity, i decided to use this new account.

I met this girl last December, but we officially started dating in January, I love her and I think she loves me too.Everything is going so well and all things been equal, i may pop the question next year December.
The problem started when I told her to come spend last weekend with me and honestly I regretted that.

After going to pick her on friday evening, i told her there’s isn’t food at home and that i was thinking of cooking spaghetti.
Getting home, it occurred to me that i have never tasted her food so I decided to let her do the cooking.(NB:I cook! like am a very good cook) so after some minutes in the kitchen, she signaled me to come eat but damn!the food was a colossal disaster! It was so overcooked and tasteless. I was not happy that evening and I complained about it.
The next day was a Saturday! She prepared yam and veggies but that was another disaster, the yam was salty and the veggies were also so overcooked. They were no longer greenies but brown.

Another thing i also noticed about her is is throughout our 3 days together, she was always moody! I really don’t think it’s because of the food disaster because my complain lasted for just some minutes.Am still trying to figure out why someone will choose to be moody and sad for no tangible reason.
Last weekend with her was a depressing one for me and right now, am seriously rethinking popping the Question next year because i don’t want to be an unhappy married man.
I really don’t know what to do

Abeg give the girl a chance because of one day cooking you are already judgemental. Just first time cooking. Please she cant be perfect on first time cooking and that maybe the way she likes it. Everyone is different. And whatever is keeping her moody give her time and space to breath. Ring na next year December ooo. We never even reach this year December and you come here to make mouth.

Relationship comes with to much load, and worries if you want to scrutinize everything about your partner. To be honest I see no problem here. If she is not a good cook like u, be nice to her, make her comfortable and teach her since u are a good cook.
For the mood swing, she ought to be, because you complained about her food. The moment u were to taste her food, she will be staring to see ur facial expression.No mata how bad a woman's food maybe, u don't tell her straight away. Think of a mild way to tell her when she is in free minded state.

It is not a cooking competition. 90% of Ladies in Nigeria can cook quote me anywhere. Then all fast-food in Nigeria will be filled each time, With men lined up to buy food if thats the case. If 10% cant cook or dont want that shouldn't be a criteria to no a good wife.
