Also, eat very early in the morning as the worms will start eating your stomach linings if they don't find food (probably how the injury started in the first place).

Eat small meals / snacks /fruits frequently.

If I remember anything else, I'll update.

Your opening sentence spoilt all your submission . how in the world did you conclude that ulcer has no medicinal cure? Ulcer is caused by a bacteria called helicobacter pylori and can be cured with the right combinations of antibiotics.

I used to have ulcers in 2011/2012 and now I'm ulcer free . And I was treated by Nigerian doctors with prescription drugs in FMC ido ekiti.

There are also herbal treatments for ulcer.

Plz stop sharing information you don't know especially those relating to health as life might depend on it

stomach ulcers are caused by a bacterial infection..helicobacter pylori to be specific

What Are the Treatments for an Ulcer?

Medications are usually used to treat mild-to-moderate ulcers. If the cause is bacterial,
antibiotics can help cure the ulcer. For recurrent, severe cases that do not respond to medication, surgery may be necessary.

Although alternative therapies have been shown to aid in the relief of symptoms, they should be used only as supplements to conventional treatment.

You should not treat an ulcer on your own without first seeing your doctor. Over-the-counter antacids and acid blockers may relieve some or all of the pain, but the relief is always short-lived. With a doctor's help, you can find relief from the ulcer pain, as well as a lifelong cure from the disease.

The chief goals of treatment are reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, strengthening the protective linings that come in direct contact with gastric acids, and
-- if your ulcer is caused by bacterial infection
-- treating the H. pylori infection with medication.

Your doctor will likely prescribe triple therapy which is a combination of antibiotics, such as amoxicillin and clarithromycin, along with a proton pump inhibitor, such as omeprazole (Prilosec) or esomeprazole (Nexium). Metronidazole (Flagyl) can be substituted for amoxicillin in patients who are allergic to penicillin. In patients who have been repeatedly exposed to these antibiotics, or in areas where there is resistance to clarithromycin or metronidazole, quadruple therapy with bismuth (Pepto-Bismol), a proton-pump inhibitor, and 2 antibiotics (like metronidazole and tetracycline) is more effective. Regardless of the regimen, all medications should be taken for 10-14 days.

Surgical treatment of peptic ulcers is reserved for ulcer disease unresponsive to medical management or emergency treatment of complications, such as bleeding. If your ulcer is hemorrhaging, the surgeon will identify the source of the bleeding (usually a small artery at the base of the ulcer) and repair it. Perforated ulcers -- holes in the entire stomach or duodenal wall -- must be surgically closed. This is an emergent procedure.

In some cases, an elective surgery to decrease stomach acid secretion may be necessary. However, you should have an in-depth discussion with your doctor as there are many potential complications associated with the procedures, including ulcer recurrence, liver complications, and ''dumping syndrome,'' which causes chronic abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, and/or sweating after eating.

Tips for Living With Ulcers

If you have an ulcer, be cautious when choosing over-the-counter pain relievers.
Aspirin and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs ) such as
ibuprofen may not only irritate the ulcer but also prevent a bleeding ulcer from healing. Avoid powdered headache medication as well, which usually contain powdered aspirin. Your best choice may be acetaminophen , which does not cause or promote stomach ulcers.
Don't overdose on iron supplements . Although people with bleeding ulcers can develop
anemia and may need to take iron as a treatment, taking too much can irritate the stomach lining and the ulcer. Ask your doctor how much iron you need.

Learn how to deal with stress. Practicing relaxation techniques -- including deep breathing, guided imagery, and moderate
exercise -- can help alleviate stress and promote healing.[b]What Are the Treatments for an Ulcer?

Ulcers come in different forms (Mouth, foot, stomach etc). Most Nigerians believe that once You say ulcer, we're to automatically assume it's stomach/peptic ulcer hence no need to be specific. It's better to be specific for the sake of clarity.

@topic
You need to be very careful of what you consume. Frizzy drinks, beans as well as it's derivatives, garri, spicy foods, acidic fruits like citrus, pineapples etc adds 'salt' to the injury. My friend that managed hers for years drank a lot of milk, soya milk and was never out of mist mag. Depends on the kind you stomach ulcer too, if it is the peptic ulcer caused by bacteria H.pylori, you'll have to visit the hospital and get placed on antibiotics. Most importantly, be very weary of strange medications recommended by charlatan drug peddlers roaming all around the net. They don't care about your condition, they only care about their pockets. Don't go and use something to aggravate your condition in a bid to get cured.

Ulcer has been my illness from birth so i know how to handle it. I drink alcohol and live my normal lifestyle. When it comes, i handle it by taking mix mag or gellucile chewable tablets.

To have a permanent cure simply take ZANTAC tablet (Ranitidine) for 30 days.

Lol. Except you don't have ulcer pains. If you know how bad and discomforting ulcer pains cause, you will carefully avoid the triggers.

Besides there are many things to eat. Boil or grill instead of frying meat, fish, etc. That's the first major step

to add to what you have gotten from others....
before I start, I would like to tell you that I was a victim of ulcer some months ago but right now I'm free like a bird. please don't mind those saying there is no permanent remedies for ulcer.
items needed.
1. ginger
2. moringa leaves.
3. water.
4. honey.
5. small pot.
6. and maybe stove or gas cooker.
how to prepare.
cut the ginger into pieces and boil in the pot for 15-20mins.then wash the moringa leaves and pour inside the pot after you have offed the stove.
how to drink..
take some of the water mix it with one spoonful of honey.. take this mixture every morning before breakfast and at night after dinner.
God will heal you... Amen.
