Oil filter can as well be changed at every 3k-5k miles.. Leaving the oil till 15k

Personally I will never use any oil over 8k miles, except it is advised by engine manufacturer..i don't care what the oil company/marketers says . I will take the advice of engine manufacturer over the oil sellers grin grin

Mr Dru I don't care if the oil comes from Heaven..

You share a link without reading till the end, your link just emphasized my point. Follow vehicle manufacturer advice not an oil company/marketers trying make sales

Leave him oh. He's following me around for crumbs. Let him. I just ignore him nowadays unless he said something particularly ignorant.... Come to think of it, that happens a lot.

Seriously though. I have pallets here that I am exercising restraint on because of all the other sellers out there. Plus it's really not the best thing for all cars and I don't want to help him push misinformation.

For oil marketers/ oil seller to make more money.. I would have easily encourage people to change their oil more frequently.. My last few post , I was telling my customers that I can't be changing oil every 5k miles.. Change oil every 10k miles or so to get more buck for your money ...

Or oil company could tell you the oil is a miracle oil & sell to you at higher price making more profit.

My initial statement started with "personally I will not"
So you are free to do 100k oil change.. Personally i won't.. Get it!! I will follow my vehicle manufacturer advice not oil seller/company

My brother at the end of the day... it is the consumers that has a final saying... if oil companies are making bad oil , the consumers will have an input... meaning consumers review is very important... go to google and read consumers opinion on products...... Your aunty's oil have been searching their product review, still searching... let the oil companies tell me their oil is the best in the world ...but if your review sucks ,I will not buy it at all ...it is not only marketing that matters, but is your stuff good

Ever heard of paid reviews?
I know you sell extended performance oil, so I would never expect you to agree with me...
I never mentioned any company selling bad oil.. I would never use any oil till 15k miles, I don't care about any Google reviews..is that too hard for you to understand?
I don't want to get more buck for my money.. Allow me to waste my money that I worked hard for..
On my car, oil change is the less/cheap maintainance item I worry about

Do you have a brain tumour?

dru23:
....

Most likely u are not using your car for uber ..mineral oil might be OK.. But with mineral oil ,you will have to change your oil more frequently...
Now ,with SAE 5w30 oil ...oil pass oil ..I will highly advice you to use Mobil oil extended performance.. This is the best oil in the market. With good oil synthetic oil filter you are good to go.. With extended extended performance, comes extended protection. That should last you give or take a good 15k miles.. But I will do roughly 12k miles... but the key is to get right oil filters.. It might cost you around 3k ,but it is worth it ....
Now in mine case for example, am not in the country .. So I make sure my wife's car is protected with the extended performance.. Some women are not very good with cars.. Some will forget to do oil change and stuff like that. With extended performance you have peace of mind, knowing that the car your wife is driving is protected... go for the oil ..it was listed as one of the top oil of 2018... and please do some of your own findings.. Google about the oil ,do some research before buying any product... also coolant is very essential for your car ..get with the program.... Am not only a user of extended performance, but am also a seller too ...
PS: If your car is high milage, extended performance will be highly recommended ...excellent for high miles car..
