Why Daddy Freeze Deserves An Award by JeromeBlack: 4:08am On Dec 10, 2018 |
Whether you support Daddy Freeze or not, you cannot argue against his steadfastness in the face of great opposition from a horde of christian tithers. Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze has become the face of the anti-tithe movement. With his eloquent sermons on social media under his "Free The Sheeple movement, he has swayed a lot of people against the doctrine of tithe. The unfortunate truth is that Daddy Freeze has suffered a lot of abuse from christians who support tithe, both personally and professionally. On social media, he has received insults towards his wife and marital life. He has been cursed by certain christians who wish death and suffering upon him. He has lost a lost of sponsors and hosting contracts as a result of his outspokenness against tithing. With all these abuse hurled against him, Freeze still soldiers on in his mission free the sheeple in Nigeria. One must also commend Freeze for reinforcing his anti-tithe arguments with biblical references. His scholarly method of argument has won a lot of fans to his side. Many commentators and spectators on the tithe culture wars have indeed noticed that Freeze actually quotes the bible more than his opponents in tithe arguments. Another thing that Freeze should be commended for is his outreach to the poor. He actually put actions to his word action by engaging in charity programmes to help the poor. Freeze argues that it is better to "tithe" to the poor who need the money more than rich pastors. In order not to sound biased, one must also point out that Freeze is not a saint. He confessed that it took him a while to stop tithing- long after he started preaching against tithe. While one can say that Freeze was being honest, one cannot dismiss the temporal hypocrisy displayed. Furthermore, his divorce was a bit messy for the average christian. All in all, Daddy Freeze remains a great man. A man who did not give up, even in the face of a great opposition. Billionare pastors could not stop him in his mission to free the sheeple. A David and Goliath story. History will remember him. 192 Likes 13 Shares

Well said. For a long time, I could not figure freeze out. On the one side, He's speaking the gospel. Tithe is not what pastors should focus on. There are more important doctrines in the gospel than tithing. When you save a person's soul, you don't have to keep preaching tithing for him to know it is for his own benefit. Jesus Christ, Our LORD himself preached this. Matthew 23:23-24 The Gospel is for Salvation of Souls and Godliness. This establishes God's Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Salvation of a human soul is what produces all round prosperity as one pursues righteousness and grows in faith through constant relationship with the Holy Spirit. Matthew 6:33, 3 John 2. However, there's only one worthy to condemn and judge, and that is God himself because Let He Who Is Without Sin Be The First To Cast A Stone. When we assume the office of criticizing, condemning and judging others, we have assumed the position and title of Satan himself, The Accuser of the Brethren. Revelations 12:10 And judging/criticizing a pastor is such a grievious sin that God descends immediately to judge. Because he expects us to respect his anointed and prophets. Numbers 12 My advice, leave them for God to judge. You could choose not to follow them or know how to pick their meat and throw away their bone. How did I finally figure Freeze out? "By their fruit you shall know them." He curses at the slightest provocation. Hes always angry towards Christians, pastors and those who comment on his posts. He does not live in joy and peace. A Christian should bless always and not curse. A Christian should express Love. Yes, it seems difficult to walk in love and peace on social media but when you have the Spirit of Christ inside you, nothing is impossible. Christianity is a higher calling, beyond human limitations. Peace, Joy, Love, Grace and Wisdom to us all. 42 Likes 3 Shares |

JeromeBlack: This is the kind of garbage writeup one puts together after he has been deceived. Just because someone quotes the Bible doesn't mean whatever he quoted it to support is actually right or that he quoted the verses correctly. These days, it seems one can turn people into dummies easily as long as they see a Bible verse thrown into the order for them to act like one. Look, I don't tithe but to say tithing is not scripture is one big fat lie. I also got fooled by the lie until recently. I will write something on the issue soon. 17 Likes 1 Share |

alBHAGDADI: Tithing is in the Bible but is not for Christians, not even first fruits nor routine collection of offerings but FREEWILL offerings as required, in specific response to needs. That's the New Testament. It is unfortunate that it will take a Daddy Freeze to create a storm before the Church knows the truth about tithe et al. End times scenario. 39 Likes 3 Shares |

Mintum:Anti-tithe doesn't make one anti-Christ. Jesus was not a Christian. I'm anti-Christ, but I give at least 30% of my earnings to needy - close friends, family, random beggars... That smile on the face, That's my only reward. And it's a good one.. Would probably reduce once I take on more responsibilities... 39 Likes 2 Shares |

Pastors also pay tithes. All the voluntary donations are for God's works you jealous hypocrital Judas. "Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected, "Why wasn't this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year's wages." He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it." — John 12:3-6 4 Likes 1 Share |

OpenYourEyes1:God's work? Really? All I see is man's money building tithe collection centers (parishes)... You have any receipt that God signed? Paid for? Approved? Or is God's approval done through the man who convince you he is God's servants? Opening your eyes, while blind, doesn't improve the darkness. A whole lot of Nigerian Christians are just faithfools - they don't follow the Bible. They only follow what their Pastor said the Bible said. Some of you are more scared of criticising the man if God, than you are of sinning... Says a lot about the rubbish state of Christianity in this country... 16 Likes 3 Shares |

HappyPagan: There are false teachers who obviously take advantage of God's people... this doesn't mean true men of God don't exist. The gospel must be preached everywhere anyway & according to God's Prophesy. The gospel will reach the length and breadth of our planet then the end will come. 3 Likes |

OpenYourEyes1:If God is everywhere, why does the Gospel need to be spread? God could just reach out to people directly, couldn't he? Would spoil market for so-called false teachers... omojeesu: Nice question. Now, that we see that the Bible doesn't prevent or admonish Christians to pay tithe, shouldn't that tell you anti-tithers to also remain silent as the Bible is silent on the issue? Yet, you people decide to speak where the Bible hasn't spoken. In the process, you end up teaching doctrines of men as commandment of God. Mathew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Let those who want to pay tithe do so as long as the Bible doesn't teach against it. Mind you, tithing predates the Law because Abraham tithed. And since we are his children, I see nothing wrong in immitating the Good deeds of our father. 4 Likes |

Did his magic boat get to Africa to confirm the flood was flood-wide.. Or was it just his local environment that was inundated by God's anger? Oh well.. Who am I to ask you to reason.. First of all there's nothing like anointed men of god. If you feel a bunch of men and women that own a church or pastor one are anointed then that's between you, the people that adhere to that religion and your god. You don't expect others to keep quiet in the face of clear evil just because of YOUR own religious beliefs. Secondly, your men of god are the most insult hurling individuals ever, that's why Christians of this days easily throw insults and support it with the phrase " the kingdom of god suffereth violence......." Or am not like other weak Christians. Freeze is easily the most insulted man in Nigeria a walk to his SM pages will prove this point, some insult him not because he isn't right but they just want a reaction from him. BTW he backs insulting people from the bible, your Jesus called people fools. Your men of god that have being judging and condemning him let's look at their perfect and clean records. 1) Oyedepo- banned from the UK for diverting funds meant for charity, assaulted an underage girl, lied on the altar that Jonathan will win, war mongering and money laundering. 2) Adeboye- Liar, diverting funds meant for charity, money laundering. 3) Suleiman- this one is just a big joke, liar, diverting funds meant for charity, soliciting prosititutes. 4) Paul Eneche- liar, diverting of charity funds . They stand on the altar and still dictate to millions how to live their lives. pressplay411: 11 Likes 1 Share |

alBHAGDADI: Thank you sir. A major veil that I was delivered and unveiled of is the veil of the testaments. I used to see the old testament as Judaism and New testament as Christianity. A very subtle yet powerful bondage and veil. What is the implication of this Unveiling? The whole bible is Christianity. The difference is just that the sacrifices of sin and condemnation of the law has been broken by the sacrifice and blood of Jesus Christ. The old testament remains true, for God is not man that He should lie. The Old testament is the perfection of Godliness. It also points us to the Coming of the Messiah and what is expected of us as believers. I can't elaborate now. I hope to share more as more understanding comes. 3 Likes |
