No it’s not bt anytime I see situations like this most times it started from a deficit of love in the family and the gal goes out to look for that love and because she’s young and impressionable she can fall for a swt talking or high spending guy or yahoo boy.

Ur sis shud be like ur 1st galfrnd(politically correct sense) and shud be as close to u as possible. U take her out on dates instead of taking out random gals and build a close brother and sister relationship. Parents too have to pay close attention to their kids rather than being extremists or disciplinarians cos that doesn’t really work on sm children especially when they are far from home. If u form the right bound with ur sis there is no way she won’t tell u about any relationship she’s about to get into and she will always seek ur advice as a big brother.

Ur sis is a product of poor attention and understanding and lack of right discipline. All 3 go hand in hand. Now she’s gone far and quite lost. U will need to do a lot to get her full attention b4 u can talk sm sense into her. Beating at this stage won’t work and sending her out will only make her worse cos she will probably be staying with sm bad company. Don’t wait for smtn bad(like getting pregnant) to happen to her b4 she gets to her senses find away to get through to her by what she likes the most and be a useful brother to her by proper correction.

After reading through this your story I felt deeply for your family especially your mom. You and your father need to understand that it is quite difficult to raise a decent girl child in this our dispensation and killing an ant with a sledge hammer approach will not transform her.
From your explanation I deduced that you don't really love her again and likewise your father and this is one of the causes of her problem.
Everybody needs to be shown love. If a child is not getting parental love, she will embrace anyone who shows her love outside. You people need to understand that we are in a jet age. Your younger sister needs love home. Being harsh to her will not help but it will rather worsen the issue.
As an elder sister, please show her love too. Call her for a talk and descend to her level while discussing with her. Find out about what she wants, what really push her into that. Please don't use derogatory words for her. Remember that two wrongs can not make a right.
I am saying it again that she needs consistent love from home and a lot of patience.

I'm sorry if I sound pessimistic, buh it might av bn too late. Only God can change her now. Reason is cos, d best time to build ur desired attitude in ur kids is from childhood. Things like sex especially, the antidote is for u not to taste it abinitio. Once u've started, esp at a tender age, it's till ad-infinitum until proven otherwise. Reason I don't counsel young chaps wu r sexually active to stop. Rather, I advise dem on safe sex, wc is wot ur sis needs be educated on rn (though I can almost bet she won't take to it)

Its not easy to handle a rebellious child. As young as she is its obvious what's in her head is already the bad aspect of peer pressure.
Trust me all you guys need to do for her is pray for her that nothing bad happens to her because she has chosen to experience life first hand and not hear say. When the time comes, she will run back home, cry more than she has ever cried before and she will become a better person that you all will be proud of later.

As a psychologist, I believe you can reverse such an abnormal behavior by talking to her always... Make her see the reasons why she should stop that act. There is a way you will talk to someone, he/ she will feel sorry for himself.
