NIGERIA STOCK MARKET GENERAL COMMENT /MSCI POSITION (NSE STOCK MARKET WEATHER REPORT) - FOR 05 FEBRUARY 2019

MSCI Nigeria still no movement in the portfolio as at 01 February 2019.
Monday was a bullish day, but with a big comma, the likelihood of follow through on Tuesday is fairy remote. Monday had 20 gainers and 17 losers, the quality of gainers are unusual stocks. Better to align with the equities with good fundamentals at the moment. Any selling by institutions is likely to send the Index crashing. Better to be in cash for now, the market is like setting a trap which once you are caught, the loss is going to come very quick.

NSE All Share loss for 2019 now -2.18%.

For Tuesday 05 February 2019, projection for the Nigeria All Share Index, expected High is 30787.31 Low at 30,669.58.

For now we are watching the market only, except I see exceptional opportunities, I want to remain risk averse.

So please advice and give hint, how to overvcome ooooo.

For me at 1.25 it's ok and at value zone
but if i see movement. i fit jump but why trade a ranging stock?

The market is generally dull, maybe its cos of the coming election......
but it might still rally when Q4 results starts coming in.

I don search am! Ranging stock is a stock bound within a lower floor (Support) and upper ceiling (Resistance) which it can't break through. The price thus goes back and forth within the range.
Can we then say transcorp is a ranging stock? I'm afraid the answer is Yes!
Can it break the resistance going forward? Hhmmm, I think Yes, provided there's a good news and an outstanding Q4 result (in addition to the Q3 on ground).
Is this achievable? YES! With God all things are possible (SA & DA).
