IMHO, the only truly credible relationships are consanguine relationships. Specifically between parents and kids, and siblings. And here's a constructive example, a man finds his brother screwing his wife or a woman finds her sister screwing her hubby; they get mad at both of them; but only one comes out of that relatively unscathed.
