As harsh as this sounds, the fact is relationship isn't meant for broke guys.( no matter how understanding the girl is) An advice for you brother, channel that energy you spend on chasing women into grinding and hustling hard to make money. It might be hard at first but it will pay off in the end. It's all about discipline and dedication. Build an empire and watch how sophisticated ladies will flock around you . Met one guy off nl when I used to cry and rant about it. Guy finally said let's meet and get something, I said for once let me act like , expensive, maybe then a guy will say I'm worth all those things they always do for girls. I changed my mind for once and ordered chips and chicken instead of the usual water or nothing that I would've said. Quick true story. My older sister used to date this guy from a poor family who she met as a broke A
level student.
She used to take, sorry steal, the family food to take to him (e.rice, beans, garri).
She got caught doing so once by my dad and when she explained his situation, he just asked to meet him which he did.
Fast forward over 40 years and a marraige with children and they are still together now as husband and wife. Needless to say he is pretty well off as the last time he didn't travel first class on a plane was in the last century.
I would say she dated him over 6 years (A levels, Degree, NYSC) before he spent a kobo on her.
