Try to educate him that you're a domainer that recently purchased the domain and you found that his website will need it to further boost its traffic which will later convert to customers. Tell him to do more enquiries on his own and inform you if he do be interested to acquire it.

I need to start afresh totally but I like this cuz its an experience that will make me work and research harder

Request for a refund for the namesilo.com domain name too. You can list the domain you got with godaddy coupon.

are you sure what they're asking you is renewal? Renewal is annually except you registered for several years ahead.

Renewal Reminders normally comes from TWO months to expiry date.

Netsol $1 is not reliable. Your account may be flagged.
If you take this business serious, paying $6.99 for a domain at namesilo should never be a problem instead of risking being flagged and losing that domain name which may return 200x

You're right but you'll be safe if you register less than 10 in a day and operating only one account per ip.
