I am not married so I can't get points for spouse.

Wrote PTE, superior English.

My Breakdown:

Age: 30yrs
English: PTE superior
ACS assessment: positive result
Education: MSc
Experience: 7+yrs

What do you think will be my best bet??

I just want to leave this Country!!!

If you are currently at your same job as assessed, I understand your 7 yrs + experience will automatically updated at your start work anniversary. At the clock of 8 yrs, your work exp point will increase from 10 to 15, translating to 80 total points 189, 85 190, n 90 489. I think its what you can look at.

I'm still an undergrad in this course, our profs dem can vet this info/ advice

Hello house. Please has anyone here had a successful assessment with CPAAUSTRALIA? Were you able to get your syllabus for MBA or PGDM? If not what did your statutory declaration look like. Kindly assist urgently.

Good day house, please I need your input. My husband is dragging his feet with getting started. Can I be the principal applicant ? I have worked as a cook in my food business for 6 years since I resigned at my bank job. I am 32 years old and that alone gives me 30 points. My husband will score 25 points for age. The other constraint I think there is, is that COOK is only eligible for visa class 190 and 489. Will I stand a chance ? I just want to get started, I'm tired of taking in all the information without getting anything done as I have relied on my husband to do stuff. Thank you all.

Thank you for your prompt response. I don't have a certificate. I took courses when I started but you know, most of the institutes don't issue certificates. Can I approach my catering institute to request for one and see if it can be backdated? Will that help ?

To get a positive assessment, you need a recognised qualification related to your occupation. TRA is the body responsible for the occupation, they don't accept experience in lieu of qualification.

If the institute is accredited by the ministry of education to provide training, you can use the certificate. However, I am not sure it will fly because you will also need transcript outlining all the courses taken.

Immigration agent cannot help on this because they have no control over the assessing body. TRA is the assessing body for your occupation. TRA doesn't take experience in lieu of qualification. You need a Diploma in Early childhood education as a minimum qualification.

If you are bent on migration agent. You can contact any agent through this site.

New South Wales needs cooks. Some get it with 65 points cuz there is no much competition with cook.

But not without qualification to serve as proof.

Hi everyone, @Bellong Please I need your advice.

I currently have 75 points for my EOI.
Applied for 189 and 190 for NSW because they are the only province that has my occupation in the list
Age points 33-39 - 25
English points Superior PTE - 20
Work Experience 8 years - 15
Educational qualification B-Tech Chemical Engineer from Engineers Australia - 15
Loged EOI April 2018 but updated my latest PTE score for superior points in May 2019.

I am also marred with 2 kids but Hubby is into business so we cant get spouse points because of his skill assessment documentation.

What chance do I stand to get invited for either subclass 189 or 190?

How many years did you work as a restaurant manager?

Which year did you get the diploma in tourism and from which institution? Is the institution accredited to provide the course? Can you get a transcript for it?

I can't really tell you your chance. However, the only way to know is to be in it and wait.

If you have family member living in South Australia, you may get nomination through them for 190.

I dont have a family member and my occupation is Chemical Engineering. Thats why I choose NSW for 190 nomination, they are the only ones with my occupation on their list for now.

Thank you for your response.

Good day house, I have Bsc in Civil Engineering in 2010 and Msc in Civil Engineering in 2018. I have been working since 2012. My core working experience is in building construction. I did my COREN registration in 2016. One thing that’s has been bothering my mind on whether to apply is how to get enough evidence of working because 90 percent of the companies I worked with paid directly with individual accounts (accounta that don’t carry company’s name) and they don’t pay tax. Pls how can I get a good assessment with EA having in mind that my core experience is in building construction . Thank you in anticipation.

Third party evidence is important for your assessment in other to claim work experience points. Although this will not impact your positive outcome if your CDR is well written.

As regards to writing a good CDR, feel free to comb through the thread as so many people have successfully done that, you can ask them for guidance as me myself have never written one before
