You are misunderstanding the military for northern masses. I am happy that you alluded to the fact that they see buhari as a demi god. They had the chance to elongate their rule with a more vibrant atiku, ask yourself why they chose not to take it.
Because they know that northern interest come first, Voting Buhari will give them longer stay in power because they know that PDP will field a Northerner in 2023,if APC present Tinubu or Osinbajo and PDP present Kwankwaso or Tambuwal, I wonder how you think that they will leave their own and vote for Tinubu or a pastor they call Alne in the north,SS and SE is still waiting to pay back. NC is also angry that SW is mindless of massacre that is going in their place.

Why are the IPOB children so happy about this kind of news? I thought 2023 was their turn. They keep hating on Yoruba meanwhile by 2023, the SW would have produced 8 years of President, 8 years of VP and 8 years of Speaker. The most the Igbos have had is 8 years of Senate President. The unfortunate thing for the SE is that they do not have one credible person to even present to be voted for. Not one.

Let me just make it plain. Power is returning to the South West in 2023. Nothing can stop that - not some mischievous AYCF who have been paid. Buhari will support a SW candidate and we have already seen all the signs especially with Gbaja's emergence as speaker and Fayemi's emergence as Chairman of Governors forum.

Even if the PDP fields a Northerner, an APC candidate from the South West will defeat him. Abiola defeated Tofa in 1993, Obasanjo defeated Buhari in 2003 and Osinbajo/Tinubu/Fayemi will defeat any Northern candidate from PDP in 2023.

You people are very selfish and stingy, Allah has made u confess that THE SOUTHWEST HAS RULED ON BOTH AS P AND VP FOR 16YEARS, before bragging about 2023, the truth is very bitter but u people must taste it in 2023.

THE NORTH HAS RULED FOR 8yrs and so also

THE SOUTH HAS RULED FORR 8yrs by the end of 2023

NorthWest ruled for 16years as both president and vice

SouthWest ruled for 16yeara as both president and vice.

SouthSouth ruled 6yrs as president and 2yrs as vice.

NorthEast ruled 8years as only Vice president.

SouthEast has never tasted any as VP or President.

NorthCentral has never tasted any as VP or President.

Despite these, the SouthWest still have the selfish and dubious mind to be aspiring for president

We will take u back to history.

Allah only, gives power. But

YOU PEOPLE MUST TASTE THE TRUTH IN 2023, BECAUSE POWER MUST REMAIN IN THE NORTH FOR FAIRNESS AND JUSTICE.

How can we be happy about what we knew since 2015?
The north hasn't completed it's term in PDP since Yaradua.
Igbo's have never trusted the system so nothing concern us.
How many Igbo's did you see voting in the last elections?
Many Igbo's are already tired of Nigeria.

we will put our differences down on one condition, the whole of the south should champion the course of Igbo presidency. Anything outside that will just play to the hands of the north. If APC present a Yoruba candidate we will happily vote for kwankwaso. If south should produce the next president for equity sake then south east must produce the president for total equity.

Why did you leave your slave master the comment was credited to and attack Igbos. Fayemi became NGF chairman by virtue of rotational system and his term will end by 2022. Abiola winning Tofa has nothing to do with the current permutation. Buhari lost to GEJ in 2011 but won in 2015....Different factors. OBJ won despite SW not supporting him. It is too early to have a concrete statement on 2023 but I don't see these cabals handing over government to power hungry Tinubu unless a less hungry person from SW like PYO is presented. Two regions coming together will definitely win the remaining one in any election. Even a northern candidate will lose to any candidate supported by SE/SW. A lot of factors will play out; Igbo block vote, PDP candidate, Northern interest. Igbos are not afraid to square out with any Yoruba candidate. The only advantage any region will have is getting the ticket of the ruling party because of influence and cash to run campaign. Tinubu can get the party ticket but his success will depend on who North will truly support especially if PDP decides to field northerner and SS/SE supporting PDP candidate. Rochas will be a tough cookie for Tinubu. Umahi will get the blessing of Buhari. In terms of competency although it doesn't count much in Nigeria, Igbos have Peter Obi to match anyone in Nigeria. Finally, God gives power. GEJ wouldn't have been a president if not for God. Ask Awolowo

Fulani wants Nigeria as Country of Fulani.

Whoever doesn't believe this must be a mugu.

Fulani is achieving this through the fraudulent political structure of 20 states created by Fulani-loyal soldiers in largely Fulani-controlled north.

From the over representation in the 20 states, only a Fulani-backed presidential candidate can win presidential election.

There is no country where land mass is used as criterion to determine where new states are to be created. Only in Nigeria.

Wake up politicians of southern Nigeria for restructuring Nigeria politicaly in a democracy.

But during 2019 Osinbajo and Fashola make it clear that SW is voting for Buhari in order to get Yoruba president in 2023.

Is it now that the Northerners have turn the heat on SW that you remember that they have 300+ ethnic group in Nigeria.
Yorubas voted mainly to save osibanjo and ensure he gets a second term. Don't get it twisted.

2023 is a different ball game altogether.

Your problem is that you feel you are the only ones intelligent enough to see the arrangements and permutations in the Nigeria political space, whereas the opposite is almost always the case

- Alhaji Yerima Shettima says the north will produce the next president when President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office in 2023

- Shettima, who is the president of the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, says the current administration has not favoured the north

- The AYCF president says the ruling All Progressives Congress will die before 2023

- Shettima says the north will never allow power to shift to the south, adding that it is the only thing the zone has The president of the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF), Alhaji Yerima Shettima, has said that the north will produce the next president when President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office in 2023.

Legit.ng gathers that Shettima stated this in an interview published in the New Telegraph on Friday, June 21.

The AYCF president said President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has not favoured the north, adding that the current government is purely a southwest government.

He said: "I don’t know who is going to be the next president of Nigeria until we see those who will declare interest.

However, talking about the zone, which should produce the president in 2023, I have said it on many occasions that the North will produce the next president and you could see that the issue is becoming very clear. "I don’t just make pronouncement on something I am not sure of.

We are sure that this government has not favoured the North. This government is purely a South-West government. They have taken everything.

" Shettima also said that the only thing that is holding the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) together is President Buhari, adding that the party will die before 2023. He said:

"Even in the National Assembly, somebody was working to ensure that his interest is protected to make it easy for him to become president come 2023, but unfortunately the party itself will die before 2023.

"By 2023, All Progressives Congress (APC) will no longer be visible. The only thing that holds that party is President Buhari, but he is not coming back.

This is his last tenure and I am sure the Buhari I know will be busy thinking of how to go for his retirement rather than thinking of whether the party survives or not.

"He has achieved all he wanted to achieve. He has become both head of state and civilian president."

"On what informed his belief that APC would die before 2023, he said: "It is because of the characters that formed the party do not share the same ideology. Theirs was completely unholy marriage.

"We will continue to fight until our last blood. We will continue to expose them until the right people come to governance. It is not a personal thing; it is for us. The North must have to retain power.

"You cannot take power, which is the only thing that is left for us now. The current president is not really helping us. Insecurity has destroyed the entire North. We are left with poverty, kidnaping and banditry on daily basis.

"People are dying and you think the little power we have despite the fact it is not being used for the best interest of our people, we will just fold our hands and allowed it to be taken back by the South, which have resources.

The common man in the North is not benefiting anything; the whole thing is held in the hands of few individuals and you think we will allow that."

Make dem kuku dash una the country na.
This idea of some northerners always speaking before thinking is very very bad.
These youths whoever they are need to be kept in their place.

I am Muslim and follower of sunnah, but this idea of one region bringing the leader for a multi cultural and multi ethnic country like ours is not good politics at all.

I understand north are well prepared for leadership but in a country like ours they shouldn't take others for fools.

We have equal right to contribute and share in this country's common patrimony.

I won't support this blind injustice no matter my love for northerners.
