Why are Nigerians in the diaspora saying the green jersey always bring bad luck to eagles, and we should stop wearing it.

any explanation for these??

Nigeria has hardly won a game with the current dark green Nike kits.

Dude is already saying his eyes are on fire.

he just wanna make rohr loose his job and nothing else.....

so pathetic that this guy wanna end his career...we Loose against Egypt or Cameroon...Rohr will likely be sacked and that will likely be the end of the call ups he will get...

Let me tell you the guys that'll stop getting call ups when Rohr is sacked and a better coach is hired:

Mikel

Musa

Ighalo

Ogu

Akpeyi

Ezenwa ( because his uncle Aloysius may be sent packing as well)

Iheanacho (unless his club form improves drastically)

Awaziem (I fail to see what this guy offers. Even if he is played in CB, him go still Bleep up)

Balogun (unless his club form improves or he starts playing regularly)

E be like say you no know this man.

Rohr is the only white coach that will carry Aigbogun U-20 to a youth tournament and still open his mouth tho tell the press that they are a young team.

Balogun has been our best defender for many years now and you want him to be dropped because of one mistake?

Honestly I think people are taking that game against Madagascar too far. We butchered the game with careless mistakes. By the time we played some of our regulars the game got too far out of hand for our stars to redeem it. Now people are taking that and running with it.

I'm telling you right now you will see a different super eagles come Saturday and we're moving into the quarter finals on a different note. We're not world beaters but we'll get the job done. If saturday comes and Im wrong I'll own up to it.

I think Rohr should utilize a Ighalo and Musa as two forwards like against argentina. He doen't have to heavilly sacrifice the midfield to this. If that does not work, he should sub Ighalo with Osimehn by halftime

Ighalo is a selfish striker....
it can't work with that set up...
it worked then against Argentina because it was nacho

Ighalo and Mikel should call it quits after AFCON. It seems they have nothing to offer again

If better defenders spring up and Balogun club situation doesn't improve, he will be shown the door whether we like it or not

the level of pessimism and negativity on this tread is becoming too much, the place is becoming toxic. can we just play our role as fans and just support the team not because winning is guaranteed but because that is what we should do I.e support respective of the situation. irrespective of our opinions on Rohr and the team the fact is we are stuck with them for now. Rohr will not be with us forever so let's just enjoy the afcon and hope for the best for our team.
if you really can't stand losing in soccer then support a team you are sure would always win.

3-5-2 should be the way to go.

Defenders:
Balogun Omeruo, Ekong

Wing backs:

Simon and Kalu

Midfielders:

Ndidi, Iwobi, Etebo

Strikers:

Musa and Ighalo.

Second half
4-2-1-3

Kalu out for Chuz 55 mins
Simon out for Aina 60 mins
Musa out for Onyekuru 70 mins

Simple.

That team doesn't exist so basically you are saying they should stop following football altogether.

Fair advice if you ask me

Osimhen can be used as a sub if/when the need arises.

Besides, it is not compulsory u feature all the players u take to a tournament.
When will he used ? Against Madagascar this guy suppose play along side henry the coach kept them on the bench . one thing about coach doesn't know when to make changes and kept experimenting formations in a tournament . If he was tactical strong Nigeria should have defeated or drawn against Argentina .Even if Ighalo scored 40goals there is need to give younger chap opportunity . Keshi brought MBA from nowhere
