Hi Jide, I retrieved my MTN line in March and I've been subscribing the 200 for 1g data since mid/late March. This morning I was notified that I'm no longer eligible for the plan. Thought this offer is meant to last for 6 months. Does that mean it's all but over or should I try the other 100 for 250mb or 1k for 4gig

Im trying to open a dya account on my phone for over a month ago. And it keeps bringing out: failed due to network issue. I bought another sim again same story. What might be the cause? I want to know cos im really interested in opening one.

Y`ello, kindly visit any nearest MTN store with either a Driver’s License/Voters Card/National ID Card/NIN document/Sworn affidavit or Authentication Letter from a community Leader. Don’t worry, you’ll only need one! SIM card and SIM registration details. The SIM will be upgraded for you.

Hi Valuer303, sorry about this experience. May I know how you tried creating the DYA account? You can dial *710# to try again.

The offer is valid for 3months and dial *559*65# to confirm if the SIM is still eligible for the offer.

"Dear Parent, the PIN code you entered is incorrect. Kindly dial *344*7# to get a new PIN and try again. Thank you."

D same pin I've been using for years now and d code for a pin reset isn't even working...

Hello Jide, I have one sim card I normally use in my modem for browsing. For some months now I did not use it as I was using my phone. Then last night I wanted to use it, there was no signal. Can I retrieve this sim back? I used the number to open some important accounts and can't login to them because an SMS will be sent to the number with a code I have to enter before I login in. So I really need this number. Help pls

Please I need your help @Jidesm.. My sim went missing two weeks ago. I bought the sim in 2007 (that is the exact year but can't remember actual day/month). So I went to an mtn agent for sim welcome back with my valid id and registration details. He did the necessary thing and told me the sim will work after 24hrs.

Two days later, the sim refused to work. I returned it to the agent who told me the picture on the database does not conform with my present image. I argued it has been 12yrs since I bought the sim and I have changed physically. Also requested to see the picture. He showed a picture that isn't mine and told me that is what is on the database. It is unbelievable. I registered the sim myself back then and did updated it when I was in the varsity.

The agent told me to look for the person on the picture or the swap won't be validated. The fact is I don't know who the person. How can I retrieve my sim back? Thanks

Hi Mr JideSM,

I subscribed for mtn data of 1k for 4Gb since on Tuesday, 25th June and ever since i cant browse with my normal phone browser, though whatsapp messages do drop.

i have called your CC lines and all i was told is that the problem is from my phone.
The phone i use is Doogee Y8 and i have used that same phone to browse with normal subscription.

Please kindly help me resolve this.

Hello Rajman45, I am sorry for the delayed response. To Lock your SIM, you will need your line PUK number. Go to the phone settings, security, SIM lock and use your preferred 4digit code for the SIM lock. The MTN default Pin is 0000.

Kindly see the requirements below for CUG:
You must have a registered company under CAC
Must have from 10 number of staffs and above
visit the MTN office with a valid ID card, company registration details and proof of residential location for assistance.

You will be assisted.

Hello, sorry for the SMS issue experienced. Kindly enter +234803000000 on your message center number space. From message to message settings to center number or service center, enter the above number, save, restart the phone and try again to send sms. Your line is fine and has been refreshed.

We are sorry about this. Please keep using the line. Recycled line ownership is claimed when you have the SIM Pack. With time, the calls will stop. Thank you for your understanding.
