You people always make me laugh with this talk. Half the league is copying some of Jordan's moves while the others they can't even reenact because the Basketball gods didn't bless them with the skills to pull it off. Butyou think the GOAT would not be able to cope with a mere rule change that would lighten his burden offensively as well thanks to the beating he took going to the basket

Yea, moves like the Harden step back and floater, or the Curry LeBron/Same deep three. Lol. Mention one of Jordan's moves that's been replicated in today's game.

But we were talking of his defense, how did his offence get into this discussion?

Jordan's defence was praised mostly because of his ability to rob a player off the ball one on one. In today's game, a lot of those steals would have been called a foul because of the way he had to make physical contact with the player to rob him off the ball.

I find this funny.

Cause bron fans try to discredit Mj saying he played plumbers and because they are plumbers they couldn’t guard him but now you are using physicality against him.

Lol, man had to bring LeBron into this. cheesy

People think good defense is about physicality and athleticism. How athletic was Bruce Bowen?

Every day we keep hearing nonsense about how players in this era are bigger, stronger, faster more athletic but why is Steph Curry thriving and torching fools? How did a midget like Isaiah Thomas drop 29 per game in one season.

It's very laughable when you hear people go on ad nauseum as if basketballers of today have reinvented some wheel, as if pick and roll isn't still the staple of the offense
It's rather counter intuitive to state this and then go aged to ask why Stephen and IT are/were so good.

I am not calm, i am certainly not nice. Your clippers? LOL! Bandwagon. Mark me, there's only one franchise in LA and these are the only clippers that matter.

IMHO comparing eras does not really work because of the type of play and differences in rules. Especially in teams sports from football to basketball and American football to name a few, different eras are difficult to compare across board because of even little things like nutrition, ease of commute etc.
I remember one open court episode where Shaq could not believe there was a time NBA players flew coach, little things like this even advance in medical sciences simply ensures that a level playing field for comparison does not objectively exist.
Therefore, the best thing to do is to divide the game into different eras. Jordan is the GOAT of his era and LeBron is the GOAT of his era.

The celtics and the pacers will definitely do better than the nets and the heat.

The lakers finishing as the one seed is highly unlikely. Trust me, with LeBron there is going to be drama. But come playoffs, we smoke them all.

Barring major injuries to these teams, i don't think anyone's list will be off by a mile. Most likely a drop or one step increase in the seeding.

Of course I forgot the Pacers.. I've not been following the Celtics.

People no dey really fear Serena again. I don't know if it's motherhood but stepping on the court half the time you feel you have lost already when you see her on the other side.

This was the same Halep that she was 9-1 ahead of prior to today but see how Halep jumped on her throat from the first game. First Kerber, then Osaka and now Halep. A pattern is emerging

I see it differently. She is coming back from motherhood and has made significant progress since she came back. It's a journey. I believe she will get back to elite level and winning titles soon.

Are you a comedian or something? One of the all-time greats Kobe Bryant literally photocopied MJ's game and dominated an era.

Even Dirk's one legged fadeaway was a modification of MJ's move, your MCM LeNomad, Wade, Melo. Who was Kawhi's style of play most compared to this post season? Even the mental midget DeRozan. You must be joking surely! His mid-air switches are obviously harder to implement by players today but to suggest players didn't and aren't still copying the GOAT is pure clownspeak

What nonsense physical contact are you talking about? Anticipation, ability to jump passing lanes can also help you get steals. Jordan was also an elite shot blocker at his position so I don't even know what you're talking about.

She has had a remarkable journey so far and I believe no woman has come back from motherhood to still play at such high level. However I think she is at that level already. Why she lost yesterday and her previous two grand slams is not down to motherhood.

There are clear chinks in her armor and I reiterate Serena has lost that fear factor especially in the big games. She had started losing Finals in quick succession before motherhood. It's possible that she still wins at least one or two more slams just because of how great she is

Where is the lie? By virtue of how much bigger, stronger and faster players today are, such players should not be a factor in today's era. I said what I said.
