Visit E2 language with Jay (for IELTS and PTE) and IELTS Liz on YouTube. Watch the videos on all the sections to decide which test you want to take, and try practicing on ieltsonlinetests.com.

@Idiebube110; sorry to deviate from the topic a bit. I saw a post about your inquiry on IJMB transcript but can't respond on that thread. Please have you gotten a solution? Please I need a contact at IJMB office in ABU who can assist or if there is any link online where i can make the request.

It is very difficult but not impossible. If you are able to get a farm hand job, yes you can get a temporary work visa for it. However, the jobs are mostly given to backpackers and Nigeria is not among the countries that can get the working holiday visa.

Greetings all, Please can anyone help me on the process and link for assessment of Medical Doctors. I tried registering but i think is in the wrong link as I could not find an overseas institutions except Australia.

Thanks

Are you the medical doctor?

The process for medical professionals is not as straightforward as other occupations. You need to be registered with AHPRA which can happen after you have written the qualifying exams.

You can google AHPRA to read more.

Thanks, the Medical Doctor is a family relative, its not me. We have been trying to, but like you said it seems complicated. Like I said, we created an account through AHPRA, but could not get pass filling educational history as there was no option for choosing educational institutions outside Australia.

i get confused with AHPRA registration and that of Medical Board of Australia (MedBA) https://www.medicalboard.gov.au/Registration/International-Medical-Graduates.aspx.

From your experience, do you think the above link is the one for overseas applicants? Thanks kindly advise.

How do you want me to assist? You must have been given reasons for the negative outcome. If you don't agree with their reasons, appeal the decision.

What occupation?

Did your JD align properly with your occupation?

Did you give anyone who's gone through the process your docs to vet the list of docs that you submitted?

I don't think you need anyone to analyse the outcome to you. It's crystal clear.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 11:38am On Jul 17, 2019
@topacs,

You may be able to appeal the decision in employment but can't appeal that of qualification. TRA has now joined VETASSES in their issues with qualification.

I thought you were assessing for ICT support technician? Assessing with ACS would have been a better option than TRA.

Thanks bellong, Not sure if this is a good decision but after careful analysis, am not sure appealing this decision would be a better option as the issue of qualification might still come up, i better invest that money in completing my Msc in IT with vendor certifications early next year and assessing for another IT occupation with ACS as u advised... Thanks.

Thanks for the update. I'm trying to navigate the site to no avail. Please, do you know what the column "availability" mean? Like what does it mean for a skill to have "high", low or medium availability?

Thanks

We're you working as a developer programmer during this period?

If you go to ACS website, you will find the guidelines there.

Nobody can give you an authoritative response on getting a positive assessment. Some of the things you can do is to read VETASSES' fact sheet about internal auditor, align your job descriptions to match the ANZSCO description of the occupation and you can do the advisory service with VETASSES before the main application.

You should also note that you need to be able to get at least 85 points to have a chance at invitation for the occupation.

Availablity means the occupation is available for sponsorship/nomination by the state.

High availability, there is a lot of slots for nomination, medium - reduced slots, low - very reduced slots.

Thanks oga Bellong. However, I saw that for civil engineering, there is additional requirements and from what I saw as additional requirements, applicants must have secured a job in NSW. I really don't know if I'm misunderstanding the terms.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by yungmin: 5:57am On Jul 18, 2019
@Bellong, please, see an excerpt from the link:

"Some occupations on the NSW 190 Priority Occupation List (NSW 190 List) are now subject to an additional requirement for nomination by NSW.

The additional requirement for these occupations is to be living in NSW, and to have been employed in NSW for at least one year, in the nominated occupation.

These occupations are indicated on the NSW 190 Priority Skilled Occupation List."

You are not misunderstanding it. The requirements are to be living in NSW and to have been employed for at least 12 months in the nominated occupation.

Civil engineering has such condition. You can only meet it if you are living in NSW.
