NB: if u haven't gotten any reply yet from CIC, don't give up. Stay positive n be prayerful. DELAY IS NOT DENIAL. Mine took 13 months n still got approved, urs may not take dt long but it can n will be approved by God's grace.

Why not try booking an appointment in IOM Abuja,see if they have an available date next week, u just might get lucky.

Good evening guys it been a while that I have posted here but I can’t take it any longer
It’s now four month that I applied for student visa and no reply yet, this will make it two month I received bvl and still no response from cic I have not been told to go for medicals . I have sent cse to cic I have requested for my gcm note
But I could remember last thread that some were talking about ways that they used to fast track there application (June 2018 ) applicant. Please friends if there is another way apart from cse and ordering gcm note please reply. Your response will be highly appreciated

and its now 8weeks i have not heard anything from the embassy, my visa tracking is still showing in the canada visa office meanwhile my international student adviser mailed me informing me that visa confirmation for thompsosn rivers university is 1st August 2019. Please does it take this long, any hope that i will be given

my dear, God and fervent prayers are your only hope, keep being positive.
youi can wait till after 9weeks for d regular processing time, and if nothing pops up, you can then send a mail to them to fast track your application.
my take on this though, let the gurus in the house comments.

You have to try and link the application online so that you will know the current status
Now you don’t even know the stage it is but if you link it online, you’ll have an idea of what’s going on

Can a PhD applicant still have hope if he apply by 1st of August paper route or online? This is because PhD can start within one month after official resumption

You would likely get that soon. Got my stamped passport on 16th and the LOI came in on 17th.
And if you don't get to see it, send a mail to Nairobi immigration.
