So me and my man been married for a year now but here's the thing he does that pisses me OFF!!! TOTALLY!!!! ehn, every time I cook rice and stew (fried stew/fish/meat) he'd ask me to go outside the estate to go and buy Ewa(beans) (I'm using Ewa because that's how he pronounces it. So I noticed this earlier and I started Cooking beans anytime I cook rice. He'll still request for 'Ewa' the Mama put beans made and sold by the roadside

While we dated he'd even ask me to cook for himself and his friends and if my cooking was bad, I'd have gotten feedback somehow.. how can I serve food and he'll ask me to go get 'Ewa' at Shangisha Outside Magodo Gra to mix his rice even when we have visitors he will send me a whatsapp message to still go get Ewa most times he'll even book uber if i tell him I'm too tired to drive I'm tired of going to buy Ewa!!

How do i get to know what the problem is, because it's definitely not my cooking, 2 of my office buddies they don't buy lunch because i bring enough food for 3 of us everyday and they'd have stopped eating it if it was bad

If no then i'll suggest u have nothing to worry about. Since u guys have been married 4 just a year i'll suggest you give it time. Who knows it might not be a big issue.

These are one of the ups and downs in a marriage u knw. Its not always rosy. I dont believe ur cooking is bad or the fault is 4rm u. Dont mind nay sayers.

Ignore negative comment and focus on the positive response my dear. But it seems that agoyi beans has spirit of addiction . I love that beans like mad. I eat it almost every day . I’m not married yet oo but my ex usually complain of my addiction to that kind of beans . If she prepares bread and tea , I will definitely reject the tea and ask her to buy ewa for me. Thanks alot, do you buy Ewa for every rice dish? Even if you tell my husband that they don't have Ewa, he'll ask you to find another roadside canteen and if you find one and lets say it's beeing cooked currently he'll ask me to wait in the car till it's ready

your husband is trying to let u know that he loves rice and beans. Like me I don't like eating rice. I prefer eating it with beans. when ever you cook your rice please try and cook beans separate or if he likes the rice and beans mixed, then u can mix it. your cooking is not bad at all but he just prefers eating rice and beans and prefers that Ewagoin kind of beans which I also love so much and can't resist. The only thing that makes me eat rice, is when I don't have any other alternative... then I will just manage the rice and can't go more than 1 round except I am very hungry. But when rice and beans is combined, I can go nothing less than two round even when I am not hungry. Maybe your husband is just like me in that area. So I will suggest u learn how to cook Ewagoin...ask one or two Yoruba persons or anyone that cooks and sells it...they can teach u and u can even pay money to learn so they will teach u very well. Your husband loves u but this kind of small issue u see, can generate into a big problem later...u know why? each time ur husband ask u to get the ewa and u keep on given him complaints of getting tired, he may begin to see it as disrespect and before u know it, both of u will begin to exchange bad words and the problem begins. pls let's avoid this looming danger. Do what I said u should do here and also let ur husband know that u have noticed that he loves this ewa a lot and u have decided to learn how to cook it to make him happy. He will b so happy with u and also let him know that even after u have learnt how to cook it and its still not OK, he should not be scared of letting u know cos u want to make sure that u give him the best ewa...smiles. Enjoy ur marriage and ur lovely husband. For your co workers who eats ur food everyday, pls minimize the way u bring food for three persons, I don't think it is too good. You may say u are not complaining but it is still not OK. they should eat from u but not see it as a daily thing. they should be able to take care of their meal or learn how to survive without ur meal always.
