holart92:I am not an expert, but let me ask you the obvious question: Did you use a fraudulent bank statement? If you didn't, you have nothing to be scared of. Just respond to the email and try to get Zenith bank to send your statement directly to the embassy. You can ask the bank to send the statement to the email that the embassy provided. Also ask the bank to CC you in the email. If you do this, all should be fine. If you did submit a fraudulent statement, you will be banned for five years. You won't be put in jail, but you might have difficulty in entering Canada or any other first world country in the future. |

mzjokky16:Just go to the clinic as early as possible then plead with them if the can attend to you. Better to try than be waiting for who to exchange his/her slot with you. I want to believe CIC asked you to go for medical, right? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 6:53pm On Aug 28, 2019 |
holart92:Is the statement of account fake or cooked? If yes, then don't bother replying CIC(just wait and face the ban). If truly you use fake SOA then that's very wrong as things like this makes it even harder for genuine people to get their TRV |

mzjokky16:Nne, beg the security men...explain the situation to tell. Worse scenario is that you will stand outside for some time. But if you can beg well, they will let you in. |

The first thing yo do is to be honest with your self and tell the truth whether you submitted a fake bank statement or not. If you didn't, go to your bank and ask for and updates bank statement, send them a mail and explain you didn't submit a fraudulent financial document. My 50 cent. holart92: |

101 times that CIC send this to anyone, they would have made their findings about the fraudulent documents submitted and things like this is why other genuine applicants have been here 7/8/9/10 months no approval and processing time for Nigerians increasing per second and that of Indians reducing. Na wah sha! holart92: |

waynee2baba:Hmmm.. I dont understand where you got this ridiculous conclusion. all I pointed out is him saying cos of fraud, processing time increases..Biko it's caused by too many applications at a period of time... |

abusmanlouis:Likewise |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by crackcrack: 8:06pm On Aug 28, 2019 |
Aaron321:Actually, frequent acts of fraud lead to increased processing times because they have to scrutinize every document submitted by other Nigerians to ensure they are legit. Whenever you do something wrong, the repercussions don't necessarily stop with you. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by 5454Darese: 8:11pm On Aug 28, 2019 |
The increase in processing time is usually due to excessive verification of documents due to ‘fraud’ If they were not carrying out too much verification on Nigeria applications even if they have millions of applications they could still process them swiftly. Hence we can conclude it’s due to fraudulent documents detected in the past by ircc. Too many applications is another factor but not the major. Aaron321: |

This issue of fake statements. That 5 years isn't even enough,in my opinion. They should prosecute and jail such offenders, they simply cause problems for other jnnocent applicants. Nigerians need to stop all this criminality. |

5yrs ban is on paper. Its a life ban. Even after the 5yrs, they won't issue you a visa. I attended MUN fair in Abuja last Saturday where CIC officials were part of the delegation. I personally asked him the chances of someone securing a visa after a ban. And he said and I quote: "Tell your friend to forget Canada for life, he will never get an approval because his name has been blacklisted. We have his name and biometrics. He can never enter Canada". raymege: |

Everybody mustn't go to Canada, most Scandinavian countries offer loads of Scholarships for Int. Students. Eastern European Universities have cheap tuition, you can go there study first and later on apply to Canada when your condition improves. It's very unfair to limit other people's chances unnecessarily via their fraudulent acts. |
