Everyone is on edge in his country. So he felt that if his babe even thought that he was almost broke, she would have mocked him. (He probably jumped to conclusions).

He's essentially saying that if the guy becomes broke or is broke, try to work with him to solve that issue, without giving him money. If it works out fine but if he doesn't put in the effort, then he's a scam.

I see it and I desire such and by God's grace I will have it. I'm praying to God, to chose between these two guys. They are great clean focused guys. Successful guys in their different field of career.

In my experience, (Nigerian) women who love, love HARD. It's the best love. I think he jumped to conclusions on his former babe. I think you're generalising men and fail to see anything from his point of view.
