Hey michelle, so sorry to read about your current health condition, the lord will always be your strength. That been said, you have to tick yes in the form because your medical result will prove you wrong on that front. Indicating you have health condition doesn't mean an outright refusal. I think the VO would be more concern on your finances for your health/living expenses, and other aspects of your application. All the best.

Hi. Amen. Thanks for your response. But that part of the form indicates that I have to tick it if I have a medical condition that requires other treatment than medication. In my case, I don't. I use my routine drugs (medication) to manage it. Do I still have to tick that part yes?

Hello everyone. Please can I get a link to a low cost university where I can do a master's in pharmacology or Microbiology. I have a first degree in medicine and Surgery
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by 1stdami(m): 7:06pm On Oct 18, 2019
Make sense move. EE is a better route into Canada once you get your master's degree you are already a hot cake. The amount you will spend for masters in Uk is even cheaper when compared to Canada.

Sorry about this bro. These guys are mad. I think no one should bother applying for the rest of the year. I urge you not to give up. Defer admission to May, try one last time in January. Remember all we have spent so far on medicals and what not.

My personal plan is to apply January. If it comes out negative, it's straight to UK because of this new 2 years development. If that be the case, I'd still run EE after securing the masters, after all na 1 year masters with option to stay 2 years. Reason am

Yes, you do. As for any other relevant information, bring it to the attention of the medical examiner to include in the report to be sent to CIC.

happy birthday bro.. a friend of mine is using an agent to apply... she is a university graduate but the agent is applying to colleges for her... I feel it doesn't make sense but her agent told her it's easy to get visa with college..she's really confused now.

Thank you very very much my good people. cool cool I am grateful for the best wishes and prayers and I say AMEN to them. I'm honored to be celebrated amidst you all. God bless you all immensely and keep you to witness the good things of life.

@Justasking, what's your friend's CGPA in the university? If she graduated with a 2.1 her sporting chance of securing a Canadian TRV is to apply for a direct master's program. Contrary to this, then a college post graduate diploma program will be fine for her.

Thank you!

Thanks my guy, I will even prefer the express entry but I don't think only BEng certificate without masters will give me a high CRS score.

Hi thumbs up for the job you are doing. I want to find out somethings. My Boss is co-sponsoring me for my studies in canada. He doesnt bear same surname as me though. The tie i intend to use is Family and my job since my boss also intends to give me a letter stating i am going for study leave. do you think that will fly? Also how much do i need to have in my own personal account i am not worried about my Bosses account balance tho. Thank you, i await your response.
Your boss can co-sponsor you as long as he shows commitment by paying the money into your personal bank account or pay your fee(depending on what his fund will cover), but he has to pay the money to you or your school since he is a third party (not your parent or sibling).
As for the amount you need in your account, has long as you have enough to cover the entire duration of your program (tuition fee and living expenses) you are good to go. You need the entire amount now because you are sponsoring yourself (I hope your program is for a year, if not the fund you need to show will be much).
Good luck

Did you request for your gcms note in both cases? If no, then you should do that before you think of reapplying. It is better to aim 10 times and cut 1s than to aim 1s and cut 10 times.
Hope you get my point? Don't be in a hurry

Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary are currently doing free application. So you'd get a tuition waiver instead of paying 75CAD. Started on Friday, Oct. 18 and would end on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019.

Hello everyone, I'm currently studying for a Masters degree in the UK and I want to apply for another Masters degree in Canada.
I will like to ask if I can apply for Canadian Study Visa in the UK without having to come to Nigeria. I also wish to know the potential challenge I might encounter during the application process.

Thank you

Hi guys,
Nice job we all doing here to be honest I must commed the gurus here.
I have been following the thread and I attend to few questions I know I have few experience about so I won't say am a new member lol.
I applied for my first student permit on the 25th of July and I got my refusal letter first week of Sept with the same generic reason of purpose of visit, family ties and asset and financial status. I have ordered my gcmnote so it can help me refire. My brother in Canada was my sponsor in my first application but luckily for me I have gotten my previous company where I had my intern to sponsor my study in Memorial university and all the supporting documents from the company including the agreement between me and the company has been sent to me. This is a tuition assistance program/repayment agreement. This agreement shows that after my study in Canada I will come back to Nigeria to continue working for them. This carries the Pre-employment and post employment condition and agreement. I have been working on my Sop in the last one month and I have been able to pay my tuition fee also. I will be submitting paper route again before month end since I have defered to winter 2020 but I just want to ask gurus in the house if there will be any need for me to submit my empty bank account And I stand to note any advice from gurus in the house.

Affidavit of Sponsorship is necessary, but nt compulsory. Submit ur photocopied documents cos the embassy do not return documents once their is a final decision.. So do not make the mistake of submitting the originals.. Peace

Hi everyone. I booked an upfront medical exam at IOM MHAC Lagos for Wednesday next week.
Is it after I have done the exam that Wednesday that I can finally submit my application because I have uploaded the necessary documents?
Also I am Sickle cell anemic but I use only drugs to manage my condition. Do I have to tick yes in the part of the student permit application form where I am asked if I have any medical conditions that requires more than the use of drugs to manage? I know the obvious answer is no but I still need to confirm.

Hello MissMichelleA,

With an upfront medicals, you can either submit the e-medical slip you will be given with your application or through email or webform after you've submitted. If you're submitting after your app has been submitted, in the body message, simply include any of the following or all; UCI number, Application number, full name etc

About your health, your answer should be NO.

Good luck!

Showing an empty account especially having work experience and gotten the "personal asset and financial status" refusal reason, your best chances would be to work on your personal account and show some funds. At least, have (your sponsor transfer) your 1st year LE in it.

Good luck!

Yes you can apply while in UK because you have a temporary residence status (your BRP).

Quick questions?

Why do you want to go for another masters? Some VO’s will want to know why ... so be prepared.

Do you have any work experience?

When will your BRP expire?

My suggestion is apply in UK.
