This all that I have to tell you.
And GUTA is not listening to his begging or pleading because Nigeria don't do anything for Ghanaians. They're closing down the businesses. Those Ghanaian politicians are greedy and want to take advantage of your huge population which they always do. If you can't use your population, Ghana will exploit you.He has already secured for your borders to be opened for only Ghanaians. Why do you think Ghana has secured the African Free Trade Agreement Headquarters in Accra. We're ready to exploit all African markets that's why we are building factories in every districts in Ghana. Currently, industry and factories makes up 25% of our economy and Nigeria is number 4 trade partner of Ghana even in West Africa. The deputy minister doesn't know how the trade really works. He just sees your huge population and thinks it will benefit Ghana buh that's not the situation on the ground. Do you know that Nigeria has banned 43 Ghanaian products from entering into Ghana including cements, electrical cables and appliances, medicines and pharmaceuticals, etc buh Nigerians imports these same products into our country through our land borders and pays no duty on them.Your citizens will suffer attacks and nobody can help them from this week going.Make sure you don't call Ghana xenophobia when it continue

Yes,GUTA hates Nigerians and all their trades in Ghana.Left with them, all the millions of Nigerians living in Ghana will get out of the country buh our leaders and security personnels always try to stop them from causing any mass closure of businesses and aluta.GUTA represents All Ghanaian traders in Ghana. Ghana has a law that bans any foreigner from trading in Ghana except when you have 1 million dollars as capital buh these Nigerians and foreigners always points to ECOWAS for protection and since you Nigerians closed your borders, although it hardly affected any business except some few alcoholic companies that exported some of it's products to Nigeria and West Africa, they took the opportunity to warn our foreign minister in Ghana of Nigeria defying this same ECOWAS laws protecting their businesses in Ghana by closing the border and told the foreign minister to close our borders too in Ghana or all the foreign Nigerian businesses in Ghana will be locked forever and nobody can shout ECOWAS again. That's what they've started.

You Nigerians are very funny oo.I already told you that GUTA already hate you and had just gotten the perfect opportunity to get all Nigerian competitors and traders out from Ghana. Remember that Ghana is already 30 million people and has the second largest economy in West Africa and higher GDP per capita than Nigeria. There're more than 4 million Nigerians living and working in Ghana together with their families. Ghana doesn't really produce anything for exports into West Africa except some few alcoholic companies. Now if these millions of Nigerians living in Ghana are frustrated and forced out of Ghana, your same people will be shouting ECOWAS and xenophobia. Now let's see if any Nigerian will shout ECOWAS again. Just this year, just 400 Nigerian shops and businesses were locked in just one spare parts town in another city called Kumasi alone and you people were all over the place. You wannabe giants were mocking our leaders that they're begging you. For them they always want peace just like the South African leaders try to make peace buh we the people of Ghana don't want to see you Nigerians in our country and don't even care or heard of any border closure .F**k peace. That's the honest situation on the ground .Seriously I love my country Ghana more than myself." God Bless our Homeland Ghana, And Make Her Great And Strong ".I hate to see my fellow brothers and sisters from Nigeria insult my nation Ghana.

I don't blame you comparing 30million with 200million...I blame our leaders.. if they got things right other African countries will be begging at the border to enter Nigeria .The Nigerian government is saying other nations bringing goods illegally to Nigeria should abide by international best practices. What is wrong in that? If you feel that action is wicked by not try ship your goods through the ports so that our authorities will do proper check and quality control ....like I said if not for bad leaders , why should Nigerians even travel to some shut holes to do business

hahaha.Nigerians are very funny. Maybe you people don't understand our economy. Just as your economy can only be crippled by international crude oil prices because your whole economy and exports depend on it thus you going into recession in 2015, the only thing that can cripple Ghana's economy is the sharp fall of gold, cocoa and oil prices on the international market. Nigerians doing businesses in Ghana are nuisance whom 2/3 are even informal and evade taxes. They only end up repatriating all their little profits out of the country to their mama's in their village. Why do you think the Ghanaian government made a law to ban foreigners from retailing in Ghana. About your 4 banks or so in Ghana, just this year, the government liquidated and forcefully closed down 15 solid Ghanaians and Nigerian banks in Ghana and nobody including the economy was affected. The workers were given packages and laid off. The economy was rather made stronger. The government ended up pumping billions of dollars into the economy. Your petty banks will close and leave and the economy won't even tickle. We're looking for better investments from Asia and the Western countries not Nigeria. Your glo company is almost dead.Even you who leave in Ghana is an illegal immigrant including all these Nigerians studying in Ghana in unknown private universities without their residence permits. You guys force yourself unto Ghana cos we don't even need your failed naira here.

don't bother yourself bro.In fact,I feel very reluctant in replying their ignorant replies.I feel like they're deep in the hole of ignorance. The only thing that will force Ghana to come to the table is gold, oil and cocoa. These are our heartbeats. Trade in Ghana is mutually beneficial to both the buyer and the seller and most investors who're legally registered in Ghana are from South Africa, Europe and Asia. Our trade among Nigeria is among the lowest and even number 4 in West Africa. We trade more among Togo,Burkina Faso and Cote D'Ivoire than Nigeria. Most Nigerian traders here are highly informal and can enter and exist the economy anytime without the economy realising what's moving over there. In fact,Ghana the 7th largest purchasing power in Africa for our population and thus GUTA praying these Nigerians competing with them in Ghana should leave so that Ghanaians can control this informal retail trade. So they will not stop unless these Nigerians are frustrated and leave just as South Africans are frustrating them and other African retailers in SA.Informal trade is not even recognize and recorded so it's like a ghost trade
The thing is you Ghanaians lack the managerial skills to do retail trading. If those Nigerians leave your retail trade sector will collapse. You people are too lazy.

Lol, Colonise Ghana, ke; that country is bad news for Africa, she's a foreign Trojan horse. Truth is, Nigeria is better off concentrating on Nigeria, we have the potential to be self-sufficient in most things, we have the potential to actually industrialise largely on our own. Hope this light border closure, its effects in the neighbourhood lets Nigerians glimpse what they can become as a Nation if they believe in Nigeria and work hard for Nigeria not Africa. This is not the first time GUTA will shut down businesses owned by Nigerians in Kumasi. This is not new! They don't want foreigners to do business in Ghana but they also want to sell in Nigeria. Ghanaians are always inferior, hypocrites and with ramish brain. If you're not wanted in a country, you just have to leave. You can't continue to live and do business in a hostile environment that feels you're taking away the shine of indigenous traders even when they don't offer the best price of goods and services Nigerians will offer..

This administration will not open the border and they will never listen to the plea of any government...

Shutting down the border is a short term goal but its not the best solution to stop smuggling for a long term plan.

You're oozing so much emotions than a wet cùnt.

To begin with, Nigerian traders offer cheaper goods than their Ghanaian counterparts which earned them the unwarranted jealously from your traders union. So close Nigerian shops in Ghana and watch prices of commodities skyrocket. Unlike Nigeria, Ghana is replaceable. They can trade in Gambia, Ivory Coast, Senegal and many other West African nations that are your economic peers. Ghana is not in any position to engage Nigeria in a trade war.

As for your richer in per capita basis empty taunt, I laugh in wazobia. Most Ghanaians suffer from insecurity and envy. The almighty China is ranked 73rd in GDP per capita. Even the US is not even the number 1. Equitoria Guinea holds the largest GDP per capita in Africa and barely anyone envies her. She's neither a commercial hub or an influential member in the subregion or continent. Nigeria generate enough economic output by their huge population which in turn makes it a commercial hub to influence trade and policies far beyond its borders.

By Nigeria''s economic output we generate so much money 10times more than the rest of West Africa.

You mean Ghana is a DISTANT 2nd biggest economy in West Africa 6 times smaller than her intimidating neighbour, Nigeria? Kikikikiki!!!

When the general Ghanaian population learn how to kowtow before her Nigerian overlord, then maybe we can look down and consider your plight.

You're not even our immediate neighbours and yet Ghana makes more noise than Benin and Togo.
