This thread was meant to help prospective STUDENTS on how to overcome the hurdles of obtaining TIER-4 STUDY visas.

It has suddenly been turned into w thread for prospective MIGRANTS who wishes to hide under Student visas to emigrate.

Can’t a new thread be opened on that topic, and let this one be solely for T4 Visa-related issues.

People keep shouting hoarse about a 2-year post study visa (as a means of migration).
Have we bothered to ask those that went to the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND about their experiences?
How many of them have ‘automatically’ got employment after the 2-years?

That visa is a dead-end. you can't renew it and very few people got permanent employment with it, many jjcs here calming to know jack about the UK are just day-dreaming. Imagine spending close to £100K then you realized that you can't get that ILR?

You guys amaze me o. Wetin concern agbero with overload. Though, u guys help, but that does not mean you mock others
who are trying other legal ways you dont agree with.

Because it didnt workb for you that does not mean it did not work for many others.

You guys are wrong and sound ignorant sometimes.

You dont know it all. Both of you should accept your mistakes before I come into the arguement.

And if I come, I dont want to ridicule all your hardwork in this forum.

Several Universities would, google your course of interest and narrow it down to the tuition you can afford by checking their website , there you will find the deposit accepted.

The brashness if that threat. Yuck!
You seem to think that Justwise and I are a jobless lot whose priority is to argue with you?
Well, sorry. We are busy and hardworking folk.

My home training will not allow me to tell you to Gerrarahia!

Change topic what nonsense!
Go back to page 1 of this thread and see what the thread is about.
If you are not comfortable, then open your own thread to preach your ‘gospel’ of UKTwo-year post study visa.

No you need to respect yourself and overlook my post if it nothing to do with you. What wrong do I need to accept? Do I have to post to please people like you and tell you what you want to hear? Who cares if it hurts you or not .

UK 2 YEAR POST STUDY WORK PERMIT

For those asking questions about this subject matter, please kindly don’t allow person(s) who don’t know Jack about how it works to bamboozle you with plenty talk, portraying this Visa as El-Dorado.

In this link, @ ell77 previously did justice to some FAQs about the visa category.

There is abundant information online on how the PREVIOUS scheme worked (Until the David Cameron Government cancelled it.

As for the current PROPOSAL by the Boris Johnson government (which by the way was hinged on BreXit happening on October 31,) and with the uncertainty of a the 12/12/19 General Election, NOBODY is sure about the EXACT modus operandi of the PROPOSAL.

But if it will operate like the former one, but you don’t know precisely how it worked previously, then kindly take time to read this:

https://www.nairaland.com/331618/uk-student-visa-tier-4

If you are too ‘lazy’ (like me) to read the entire thing, scroll down to FAQ 8

By the way, if you are too lazy to read the entire thing, you shouldn’t be thinking of doing an masters in the UK. Or if you are that intellectually lazy and you insist on spending your hard cash for a UK degree, don’t come here one day to lament on how bad the UK is, for not giving automatic jobs to graduated students.

Everyone knows this. It is a fact that this life is an risk. Nothing is certain in life.

Taking informed decision is worth it.

Stop changing the discussion when it suits you.

I am talking about the view on you and justwise about Tobexin and B1ak3 on 10 year visa route.

And by the way justwise, why did you delete my comment and allowed this lady comment.

You seem to leave those who support you alone and delete and remove those who oppose you.

Remind us again...
What does £ Dom account mean?

Is it a Nigerian Bank or a UK bank?

you really don't need to be petty. if you do not know what a pounds domiciliary account is then you don't need to say anything.

Clearly, if he is talking about sending money from Nigeria then it is obviously a Nigerian bank. It is terrible that somehow you have made yourself an "assistant moderator" that believe you have to answer every question and must agree with the moderator.

Moderators are supposed to moderate and not become a "know it all". Imagine if the moderator of the politics section ignores their role and start acting like it's their opinion or nothing else.

Just because people have a contrary opinion to yours that shouldn't warrant such childish behaviour.

That is very rich coming from people who are so intolerant of alternative view, i have every right to have my opinion just like you do moderator or not.

Its very strange that many of you get irritated when facts are stated but you rely on 2-3rd person's experience to argue.

You can't read someone's post and when you manged to read you misconstrued it.

Can you point out one helpful contribution you have made here since you joined? You are quick to insult those who have being helping out here for years for free.

Less than £10K in one transaction, anything £10K and above will be regarded as money laundering

Hello guys. I would like to confirm something. It doesn't matter if I continue withdrawing money from my account during the 28 days right?
(As long as I have more than the required amount in my account and never go below it. )

Not really. It would just be reported as part of the bank's AML responsibilities. Depending on other flags, they could leave it or investigate. Same as N2m transfers in Nigeria. It's not a definite money laundering but MAY be investigated.

The chances of that happening is high, the same way they treat it at the airport even if you declare it, so to avoid all that you send less that £10K.

Yeah, but they also monitor all transfers below the limit. That has a greater flag because the risk of the person trying to hide money laundering is higher.

Your pre-formed bias against me will not allow you to see that I am genuinely seeking to know what Tobexin was talking about.

And for your information, I opened a £ Dom account with GTB in Nigeria previously.
I wanted to do what (I believe) Tobexin wants to do.
In the end, it turned out not to be of any advantage to me whatsoever.

My asking was for more info to be provided.
Tobexin understood that. But you, you come at me.

Abeg make we dey fear God. So all of a sudden, it turns out that you not only know what a domiciliary account is you also know exactly what he was trying to do. cheesy cheesy cheesy

Which confirms my point that you were clearly trying to belittle him by telling him to explain what a domiciliary account is or if he operated a pounds domiciliary account in the UK (a country where the official currency is pounds).

Yet I am bias for calling you out on this. May God help us on how we try to twist the truth. I know as usually the moderator will drop his core duty and jump to your defence once again but the truth is plain for all to see.

Hello team,

I need help in making up my mind on which school to go with BTW Robert Gordon and Leeds Beckett in terms of economic and living conditions in these towns. I would love where there's a thriving Nigeria community. I hear Aberdeen is crazily cold. Is Leeds any better? How about the teaching standards in both schools? ( both are within my tuition budget and offer d course I rreally want)

Would really love some headups to help me decide.

Wait till it's 28days it runs concurrently with your UKVI stipulated days.
Present to get your CAS and also use same for Visa.
That simple.

Reading some comments here and laughing sheepishly... grin cheesy

Justwise and LaaJiblik ... cheesy lolsss..

The truth is everyone is welcome to United Kingdom. You will know the truth and the truth shall set you free after your arrival.

Some people will say :

It's easier to get job in UK... Come and take the job o

I can not do dirty job abroad .... You go wear suits and collar tired while waiting for your dream job undecided

Easier to get tier 2 visa ... Abeg come and change your tier 4 to tier 2 sharp sharp shocked

It's easier to save for next academic session tuition fees while studying and working... .. Naso oo , infact, you can be saving 2k pounds every month working as a student... loool. cheesy

I will be pregnant before leaving Nigeria so as to have a citizen child.... Yahhhhh, that is an automatic british citizenship grin grin

You can stay back after your studies... Yes definitely... even after your tier 4 visa has expired

Studying is easy abroad ... Infact very very easy , You don't have to read, do assignment or test before passing tongue

Those assumptions have sent a lot of people back home after exhausting their tier 4 visa

Summary : All those rubbish are not real but some people still have strong believe that it will work for them...
The likelihood is high, impact is high, which makes the overall risk high.
