The only real objection will probably be from your folks who want their own grandchildren. If you are ready to have kids with her, no biggie then.

Men are far kinder to stepchildren than women. This is Nigeria, so there may not be that weird resentment oyibo kids have towards stepdads

The most you can have is one more kid, imho. Two should really be where you stop, unless you are paid.

2. what killed her husband?

Personally, as a guy planning to settle down I wouldn't want to marry a widow and especially with children. I can support her financially even sponsor the children edu but to marry - to start life, an individual who had never married before... no.
