The SFO fine has already been factored into the present share price. This is a company that was trading at circa 1000p before the SFO, it's now at circa 400p whilst maintaining a healthy biannual dividend.

There are other funds that I used to be invested in, but no longer in them now. There was one that paid a fixed £100/month for a £20,000 investment. However, no capital growth though. What you get paid monthly is all you will ever expect to get regardless of how long you leave money with them. £100 for £20,000, £200 for £40,000 etc.
Thank you.

Thank you for this. Aside Petrofac, please can you mention any other one? For Petrofac, I believe the price will crash if found guilty by SFO before it appreciates. I have been waiting for the investigation to be completed. People lost money when the news broke and the price hasn't recovered since.

Why don’t you try peer to peer lending? Like Zopa. I heard it’s really good but I haven’t tried it.

I would rather put my money under my mattress.......... £100 for £20,000, is simply an insult......... The moment you read breaking news about your invested company, your vitals would be reading.......

BP - 300/210
SATS - 54
PR - 250
TEMP - 30.5
RR - 45

And all this, before you even read the news........ grin

Hello house, I'm grateful for the counsel I've gotten from here. I got offers from 2 nhs, in peterborough and wolverhampton. I need insight on which area is better in terms of safety, transport, reduced traffic, housing, entertainment and shopping. Any advice is wanted please. I googled but only got scared with crime and danger I found online. Thank you.

Agreed, it's a pittance. However, 6% of minimum £20,000 in the fund is £1200 annually, paid at £100/month. That's enough to take care of the monthly heating and electric bill. I decided to divest from them a few years ago as capital growth was more important to me compared to monthly income.

Thanks for sharing.

Been getting lots of texts about not claiming my money back from HMRC. I just hiss and delete. I think this one catches people that are doing shady stuff. If you’re paying your taxes, and they accuse of of tax avoidance, the way I’ll insult the person eh grin
