Does it mean the guy no like capital appreciation?
Why do people think there will be rally in zenith after that heavy offload?

The only good thing I understand in zenith now is the 2.50kobo dividend(good dividend yield) but does it means the guy still don't like to collect 2.50 as usual?

If eventually disappointed,goodbye Janet.

Some stocks have finally cycled financially and the insiders understand.

Tier2 banks still have more growth to record now and future.

Yes GTB is a good stock unlike mago mago Zenithbk but I will advise you exercise a little patience.

Make your purchases in batches from middle of december till Dec 24th.

Thank me later.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate

You will be better of buying zenith, afriprud or ucap which have higher dividend yields than gtb, have not appreciated much relative to gtb and do not depreciate much after dividend. Gbt has left the station taytay. Buy soon before rejected TB money fully penetrates the market.

Thanks alot

All I'm saying is that OANDO worst DAYS are OVER they've done aggressive RESTRUCTURING & DOWNSIZING which means things can ONLY get BETTER.
Buying @ sub N4 is a VINTAGE POSITION ..QED.

OK. I hope I can find time to look closely at Oando to see what has changed, if any. I classified it as a no-no a long time ago.

STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 26 NOV

MSCI is selling some stocks, this is likely to be a drag on the market and a warning that the bull for this week may not be strong. Nevertheless there is opportunity in the market.

Just finish watching business morning. This MPR meeting today will determine everything going forward (FDIs, Inflation, Inflow viz outflow) etc.

Today's market might be sluggish.

We are observing.

These 3 consumer coys (UCAN, PZ & UNILEVER) are currently trading at a 10yr low. the last time they traded at their CP was in 2009.

Based on analysis, we understand UCAN and PZ.

please any analysis on UNILEVER will be welcomed.

UNILEVER NG PLC is going through some rough patches.
In simple terms;
It's recent financial print shows that RISK took an appreciable leap ahead of REWARD hence the drop in price u see now.
The stock has since lost near 70% since we gave a SELL recommendation on it here.
However, price is now approaching that point when REWARD could overtake RISK and create an MoS to tap from !!(price to ROI margin with FVE in view)

Using an appropriate mix of key valuation models, my FVE pegs @ N19.25
...which is slightly ahead of yesterday's closing price of N17.45

However, for a better entry peg(better MoS in view), price needs to adjust slightly further down to allow for a healthier margin where feasible REWARD(ROI in view) suppresses RISK.
...that's how to price an asset when there are surrounding risk worries.

If u understand the part in bold, then u should know that u can hold the stock if ur already in with an entry price of that range(N19+) and if ur investment horizon aligns with the medium to long term.

The coy(UNILEVER) is on our WACTHLIST !!

Lasaco Assurance has been consistent with dividend payment for the past few years now.
A stock selling for 25k as at now paid 5k to shareholders for YE 2018.
Plan for Private Placement to 'strategic/selected investors' at 1.20k per share is ongoing.
Watching this one. Time will tell. smiley

Caveat: Not monkey hunting, just trying to get more details about it. tongue

I have had to take a look at this company based on your hints (thanks). Though I have sowed some seed here, everyone should note that there is a one-for-four share reconstruction brewing here on existing shares, as well as a diluting 9.25b share issue at #1.20k per share:

DISSECTING DANGOTE SUGAR' Q3 FINANCIAL PRINT.

Perhaps some folks aren't noticing the greatly positive lines with the coys Q3 report.
This is a stock where the possible drive for VALUE signals nothing less than BUY.
With Q3(and looking in on the coys previous 2 quaters), current fundamental stance leaves far more optimism for reward than pessimism with risk(risk-return in view)

High points;

• Outstanding pick up in vol of sugar sales... with 1600bps YoY increment.
While it is not out of place to attribute some of the gains with vol to the recent border closure, it makes a whole lot of sense to say that management were very efficient and innovative especially when u consider that;

1) The push up in vol had come at the back of a higher input cost(mainly raw materials). In retrospect, the average cost of raw sugar accelerated by near 790bps over the course of Q3.
2) The growth in vol came at the back of a similar but much worse decrease over the course of the entire 2018 calendar yr.
For context, over a 3-month timeframe, DSR witnessed a double digit surge in sales @ a faster pace than it did with a YoY contraction in sales margin.
3) Sales saw an over 270bps acceleration relative to the previous quarter despite a slight increase in average price.

• Growth in earnings... it's important to note that Q3 actually witnessed a 500pbs increase in earnings.
However, the slight drop in equity earnings(EPS by circa 6.7% yoy) was majorly the result of a lower interest income and drop in biological assets.
However, there are clear signs for a plausible improvement over the course of Q4.

• Better Operating performance... To weigh in on its profitability strength, the company saw a re-direction and expansion of its EBIT MARGIN.
Elsewhere, the thing about efficiency meant that certain KEY determinant for value(EM, ROAE, ROAA, NET MARGIN AsQ and AsY) all followed a relatively positive path. ...particularly in the last 2 quaters.

I think that this is the best time to gradually look to align with DSR given the present mkt price.
From where am standing, feasible REWARD has greatly overtaken surrounding RISK.
Using a suitable mix of valuation metric, I have FVE of 14.90 with the potential for a no less than N20.70 possible price peg going into YE.

On a sidenote, I believe the current seeming oversupply of its shares on the offer side of trade could well be a crafted attempt to shake-off weak hands from the coy.
To those who hold the stock, hear this; Q3 financial print says its WORTH HOLDING !!

NOTE: DSR is currently not a part of our portfolio.
This piece only aims to guide those looking to align with the company.

CAVEAT: NOT to be infered as any sought of recommendation.
Following ur instinct should still take higher precedence ahead of this post.

Those who keyed in @ N9 at the time we highlighted DANGOTE SUGAR here should be cool !! wink cheesy grin
The coy has made an over 63% ROI run... up from a price of N9 to N14.75 intraday high today !!
The stock is a good place to be.
...something might be brewing there !!

It is well.
