I am in the same situation right now,Memorial university refused to refund me my money.I was rejected visa around July and requested for refund showing my visa rejection even evidence showing the amount of money paid. From August till date they keep giving me different stories. Latest is they are waiting for their bank to verify fund transferred. How can we allow these foreign schools to be going scot free with all these. Please what is the best way to fight this my fellow Nairalanders.I mean you can't reject me entry into your country and still want to take my hard earned money.

This is pathetic . Paying smoothly but getting it back is a problem. Please frank and other gurus come to our aid.

I have not yet gotten any update on my re-application since November 13th. I have already done biometric capture in my first application. It's still showing that its under Review for eligibility and also background check is in process. School resumes in January. Is it okay to contact them by Friday this week?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Glasses1: 11:07am On Dec 16, 2019
Hello house.. Quick question please..
If I send additional documents after submitting my application, is it going to appear with my already submitted documents in my portal? I sent in my CAC documents after my application was submitted... I cannot see it in my list of submitted documents after 3weeks.. should I be worried?

Only contact them when you are sure that your application has passed the current processing time as at when you applied.
I think they will contact you this week though.
Goodkuck

No you should not be worried. I don't think it's supposed to show with already submitted documents. But you must have gotten a confirmation response that they received your documents

Please is there anyone here that applied via paper route and was refused in November and has gotten his or her passport back. I have contacted cic and no response, my tracking details still shows it's at a Canadian visa office. I contacted vfs and they said its not with them.

There is no special process of reapplying, it's same process. The difference will be that you have been able to respond or tackle your refusal reasons and showing how your situation as regards the refusals has changed.
But this time you won't have to do biometrics again since it last for 10yrs. Only that you will have to pay visa application fee any time you apply.

This is another disadvantage of paper route though it happens once a while.

Laurendee:
Hello, i completed my bsc in accounting and I’m currently running masters in business Administration at open university but I wish to specialize in supply chain management and logistics which I would like to do in Canada.
Niagara College offers it as an advanced Diploma course. I want to know my chances of getting a study permit visa if I go it since I already have a bsc and masters.

maxwelldexter:

since its a professional course there is no problem with you going for a diploma

This approach is unacceptable and would decrease the op chances of securing a TRV because an advanced diploma is lower than his already completed bachelor's degree in Nigeria.

@Laurendee, your best option here is to apply for a master's program while you continue pursing your MBA here in Nigeria. If your Canada visa turns out good, then you can travel.

It will end in praises

Boss,
Pls I have a degree in computer Engineering, planning to study Cyber security(1yr. Co-op) in Toronto school of management.
Boss, please what are the best documents to include for my Visa application, and is there anything I can do before applying?
What are my chances pls...
Gurus in the house too can and...oga Frank be frank Biko... have never travel.
Thanks

In order not to detail the thread with constant repetitive answers, please check my post earlier this year for THE LIST OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR A SUCCESSFUL STUDY VISA APPLICATION.

The Cyber security(1yr. Co-op) at Toronto school of management is it a post graduate diploma or an advanced diploma?, Assuming it's a PGD/C and you finished with a 2.2, then your chances of securing a Canadian TRV are good.

It will end in praise

Have you make up your mind of what you want to study and also, having a family here is a plus to you already as you have home tie, secondary, are you going for undergrad or postgrad?

Please for someone that graduated with a third class grade, can that person go for Post Graduate Diploma in Canada?

Thanks for your anticipated responses.

You're certainly eligible to apply for a post graduate diploma program with a third class in any of the colleges in Canada.

Your application has exceeded the estimated 5 weeks of processing times.

Please refer to my post for a SAMPLE MAIL which you can possibly send across to the Kenya Immigration office so as to expedite the processing of your TRV application.

Hi can someone pls respond to me soon
I Was requested to send a document to an email provided nrobi-im-document@international.gc.ca. I sent it on Friday and got an auto generated confirmation mail. I don’t know if I should be worried that I’ve not gotten a response to my actual mail
Because I was given 7 days ultimatum to send the document

If the email did not get to them how will the automated email come? Lol
Anyway, to clear your doubts you may send again.

Hello Gurus in the house I just got my GCMS note. Please do you think am on the right track??

tipsycares1:
Hello gurus in the house i got denied Study Permit for three reasons. Purpose of Visit, Family Ties and Current Employment status. I want you to help me check if I've tackled the three reasons.

Purpose of Visit : I applied for Visa using admission I got from George Brown College to study - Advanced Diploma in Business Administration but now I will be using the admission i got from TRU to study Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Business Administration. I can't go for Masters because I graduated with a second class lower.

Family Ties : The agent I used didn't submit any documents concerning my family but now I will be submitting my parents birth certificates, marriage certificate with my sibling birth certificate and landed property of my parents.

Current Employment Status : I was jobless when I applied but now I've gotten a job I will submit letter of appointment, SOA and letter of introduction.

Please do you think I've tackled the reasons the VO gave in my first application.
