I was a full house wife for close to 2 years. Working with as an indoor editor and earning small amount of money. Not until my husband has financial turbulence and I was forced to go out and get a job. Mind you, my 2 years at home was not my husband making but to have time to care for our baby before creche. I usually ask this question, men that do not want to expose their wives to cooperate office to avoid or minimise the chances of infidelity, how about them and their secretary, colleagues, friends etc that surround them in their office environment. there are some jobs that put women at risk of exploitation. Sales/marketing , any job that says business development or involves a woman chasing men for business or payment, account officer, bank workers with targets, contractors etc. If you have any of these jobs you will find it difficult to find a reasonable husband in Nigeria because we men know the kinds of hazards these women gets exposed to and no one wants that for his wife.

Now when you are married. You have vowed loyalty to the marketer you got married to.

But the problem, other marketers will keep advertizing their products to you.

When you meet a better one, it will be hard to remain a loyal customer.

But for men, as long as you don't market your product, no one is buying except for the existing customer.

For men, the discipline is to stop marketing which is easier compared to women's which is to resist other badass marketers.

I guess you mean mushroom private schools because the reputable private schools don't close that early and they pay has high as 150k per month. These days teaching in reputable schools is a full time job on its own where you hardly have time for yourself and family.

Africa! Oh my Africa! U see that woman u are talking about, she carry her own head and destiny come this world o, just like you, when you were born. Wanting a woman to take the back seat and take care of ur kids tells of insecurity. Ask her what her plans are for her life, her personal aspirations etc. Encourage her too. Her life doesn't and shouldn't stop because she married you. Find a balance.

I am in the market research Industry where I work round the clock. Write reports even on Sundays and handle fieldwork in and outside the country. Does that stop me from paying 100% attention to my husband? No, does it stop me from serving him dinner? No, and will it stop me from attending to my kids when they start coming? Capital No. Do I support my husband financially? You know the answer.

Remember it's not about what you want alone, does she enjoy teaching? What is her passion, dreams, etc.. this is where sacrifice and understanding comes in. Who says the bringing up of the child(ren) should be left to the mother alone in this century?
