No they cannot find true love, since they are not humans and thus incapable of emotions

ThoniaSlim:

hhhhhmmmmmmm,intresting lipsrsealed

LOL grin so u're here sef? Whats up now?
My reason is simple, nowadays u hardly see men who will marry a woman without doing anything sexual with her during their courting and for those who want to remain virgins, they usually end up splitting cos they are not prepared to lose it.

Nna nawa o, i dont even know whaat to say, funy but serious topic i most comend, if i am ask, my respons is yes they are respected and can find true love very well cos true love has nothing to do with the heart and not mere sex or romance, let me just be an independent observer so as to see other peoples point of view, give it up for the virgins in the house and for the virgines pls dont slack
Re: Are Virgins Still Respected? by donnymikky(m): 1:07pm On Jan 31, 2007
I wonder why when topics relating to virginity are discussed we all tend to look wink at ther direction of any available girl around. Don't men keep or loose their virginity too??
Re: Are Virgins Still Respected? by LadyT(f): 1:29pm On Jan 31, 2007
Im going to divert the topic slighlty.

I agree that most guys will do something sexual with a girl before marrying her they want to test drive. I have also noticed that a lot of people getting married nowadays are already pregnant! What happened to having sex for the first time on your wedding night? It seems now our nigerian men want to make sure that, not only can he have sex with a girl but that she can also get pregnant before they marry her.
Re: Are Virgins Still Respected? by uchetobi(f): 2:19pm On Jan 31, 2007
of course they are still respected
Re: Are Virgins Still Respected? by 1forall: 3:36pm On Jan 31, 2007
Well I personally regard virginity as ideal, Gods word is explicit enough and its underscored by the values with which majority of parents bring up their kids this side of the world. Therefore I do respect virgins, especially as these virtually moral-free times make it apparently less attractive to stay off sex.

As for true love, generally, virginity is no determinant whatsoever. Shout out to the vigins in the house!!

Re: Are Virgins Still Respected? by jordan2(f): 4:39pm On Jan 31, 2007
of course they are respected. in our society now it is very rare to find a virgin.
Re: Are Virgins Still Respected? by mrrich(m): 5:48pm On Jan 31, 2007
see, i love virgins and i will forever love them. it,s not easy to remain chaste amidst all these free-for-all sexualities that fill the air around us. there is no direction you turn that you don't find sex being displayed blatantly, gleefully, shamelessly and happily. Is it in our campus, in the media or even the way our girls provocatively dress. you can imagine what our girls are now doing on shows and musicals, they have perfected the act of pornography even more than their American counterparts. i have great love and respect for our virgins and i want to tell them to take pride in their virginity. virginity is still greatly valued by people like us and virgins are secretely envied by their peers eventhough they like to taunt them and say that virginity is out of fashion. virgins shouldn't see themselves strange or think something is wrong with them. they must lift their heads high, chin up, chest out and walk with springs in their steps because they are the hope of morality. three 'GBOSA' to all the virgins in the house, GBOSA, GBOSA, GBOSA, Love you all smiley

There is nothing like keeping your virginity till your wedding nite.
Re: Are Virgins Still Respected? by Balthier(m): 6:09pm On Jan 31, 2007
Im a virgin and im proud to be one. I think its worth the wait. this may suprise some ppl but some women do actually like that. Sadly in society when ppl think virgin, they automatically think no experience. My question is as there is black and white there are also grey areas. When u guys mean virgin do u mean, he or she hasnt done anything? cuz a girl i was seeing told me she considers it anything except penetration.
Re: Are Virgins Still Respected? by debosky(m): 6:09pm On Jan 31, 2007
I think they are respected, but in my own opinion, its overrated,

there are far more important things in life apart from the fact that you've never had intercourse

and virginity at marriage is no guarantee of success or fidelity afterwards.

if you can do it, kudos to you, but if not? like i said there are many more important issues
