But of all the three fifty something tribes in Nigeria, you guys, the Yoruba are always the ones to cast aspersions and snide remarks on solely Igbo threads. If that's not pregnant jealousy, I wonder what is.

Those are APGA people using that project to siphon money..so I don't care..besides the governor isn't Igbo..he's an Igala man from Aguleri

Going by you assertions, you're aware that Anambra has 2% of igala amongst its population. Is it a crime for them to be a Governor? Are they not indigenous to the state? Be guided. I terribly doubt if you are a true son of the soul self.

Aguleri is a very big Community, not all Aguleris are Igala....70% of them are igbos.

Even if he's igala,he is also from Anambra;5% of Anambrarians are IGALA domicile in Anambra west and East(Inoma,Nzam,Imiata Anam,Odekpe,Uchechu,Egbile-Ugani
Egomeha Elika
EmeweEmewe-Efopa
ibolo
Igbadim
Ogbogbo Ojogba
Ojukpo Okwolo
Uchaikpele, oroma etiti)all these are communities in Anambra west and they are half IGALA half IGBO.....They share border with Ibaji LGA of Kogi

They are Nigerians, their investments are in Nigeria, even the fancy buildings in Eko Atlantic are in Nigeria, not in your village or in Lebanon so exactly what is this ignorant village man is talking about?

lol ...the only residents? You don take clipboard and pencil to count all the residents and they are all ibo.

You people don begin mix comedy with your village chest beating..

It was an Igbo man that built the first building in Eko Atlantic. Alpha one - A.B.C Orijakor for Salvic petroleum
This project is a laudable idea, awka as a city wasn't well planned. If this is actualised it will show residents how a well planned area should be, the amenities it brings and how easy transportation would be made.

From there, a new governor may even decide to re-plan awka and demolish some illegal structures with very little resistance from citizens. This is because they have seen the good that awaits them.

Nevertheless, I'm skeptical about Willie being the man to champion this project. He inflates project costs very much almost all the time [ e.g bell at amawbia, awka flyovers, vehicle acquisition for armed forces, road safety e.t.c], and plays politics with a whole lot of things [airport project, Orient petroleum's oil project, awka stadium et al]. Hé may hamper the speedy delivery of this project to be used as a campaign for the Next Governor whom he would be supporting.

This is commendable although I'm not a fan of the Governor, but questions are; what if APGA doesn't retain the state? How is the possibility of completing this project any another administration takes over the state? let it not be like Imo state case. but above all, I go like buy one plot here oo. Kudos to the state and the Governor but they should put mechanism that would ensure that the project is completed up till 100%. All the oil rich states should learn from this, APC, PDP or whatever, won't help, the only thing that would help is having leaders that think about the vision Nigeria.

No. The OP is always concerned with Anambra threads. Infact I rarely see him comment on anything apart from anambra or igbo threads.

But here Whenever there's an igbo thread, A sWner comes up with a snide. Its proven. We can data mine NL to prove it

I understand the very need for rivalry but rivalry without responsibility is driving towards the edge of wasteful hatred.

Anambralstson:

We have industrial areas

Not enough. Ñot enough at all.

The future of Nigeria lies in our industrial capacity. When oil is gone and done as our primary source of income industrial capacity will distinguish between viable, stable states and unviable, poor, crime ridden states. We are at the eleventh hour. Various governments at all levels should be fast tracking elements of ecpnomic independence.

Anambra state has the natural and cultural seeds of industrial enterprise. They should be expanded, deepened and properly integrated in line with a proper developmental plan.

When your businesses are prosperous and your economy is good the busonesses will build you innumerable houses and relaxation spots.

If this is realised, the relevance of staying in Lagos would be a thing of the past.

wat is the essence of an estate dat an average man cannot even visit not to talk of renting an apartment there

African mentality is just somehow.
Whatever happened to building state of the art universities or equipping the ones we have?
What about hospitals?
What about loan empowerment?
What about empowering farmers and teachers?
If we tolerate this nonsense, then our children will be next.
Shebi its teachers that can't feed that will inhabit all these cities

I think the city aspect of Lagos came from the enormous numbers of foreigners that visits the state. Do you know that Lagos is not just in Nigeria, we have Lagos in Greece and Portugal as well and in this countries it exists as a city hence they call it here Lagos city regardless of the fact that it is a state. You can’t call a state a city
