I would have answered your mention, but I have chosen not to, because you said 'maybe I am not a woman'''.
sparko1:

Maybe you are not a woman, there is no body more wicked and heartless than a woman in position, if they frustrate you, there is no begging, there is no sympathy they go all in. (Imagine sacking someone for sometime that is not yet confirmed and arresting the person as well, I mean, come on)

Even women don't want to work with a woman in power, they know themselves, there is a more likely chance that you will get help from a man! If you take a sample of 100 women in power, hardly will you find 2 that is sympathetic or have human feeling, they will unload all their life frustration on you.

You don't even know if the lady is interested in op??

Whether they agree to have sex in thier potential relationship is their decisions as Adults to take....
You don't have to pry!! shocked shocked shocked

The lady boss might be interested in the Op, but in this situation and that environment. Her interest or feelings towards him, if she has? Is irrelevant and she knows it.
I already know how the date will end up as.
She will smile and tell him gently, she likes him as an individual but Sorry she can't date him.
That's all I see there.

What intentions bro?

After all said and done, the matter or "romance" most times defies normal intelligence. Gangs, States, Associations, Nations and Empires have gone to war over matters of romance so I am never surprised by what the emotional drive does to people.

Okay, since you've no sence and insisted on going thru with this trainwreck in the making lets discuss your stupid approach...

A lot of young women work with me, and after a long while i realised that somehow i don't see them as human beings... i see them as robots. That is being a professional.

The girl you speak of probably doesn't have a real romantic date later today, but you talked to her like trash already when you referred to you being a . second option. No decent professional will allow another colleague, junior or senior look at her as unfit, and you used a word referring to her as second class.

I know she might but she won't date him

She's been professional, she knows it will cost her, her job and position in the company if she allows Romance to happen between them.

My second reply here.

You all are only interested in the lady. The lady won't accept, the lady will suppress the op, the lady this the lady that.
What if the Boss lady accepts, they bang and she go ahead to resign from the organisation and asked that her man be promoted and they marry afterward, happily?
Life has many faces. The Op took this bold step because of LOVE he is ready to end up with this lady as a wife.
The lady if not a hoe is also looking to end up in the hands of a gentle loving man. How can the OP know if he doesn't take is shot?
I love surprises and whether the Boss lady accept or not the event and words would have been registered and they will surely be uncomfortable but then, the OP may retain his JOB and also, have a WIFE.
It is better than just wishing and dying. Afterall one day he may leave the company.

I cannot understand why a woman should be rude, a yes/no is not too hard a reply. If you are very sure you like her, go ahead, but if you want a mere fling or casual friendship, keep off.

In as much as I appreciate your courage, I will suggest you gift her a flower and an icream tomorrow morning and tell her happy valentines day and you did like to take her out after work

It's up to her to accept it or reject it

If she does, take her out treat her nicely and take her back home without misbehaving

That will give her the impression that you are not after her position or her money

Leave her to pound over the care and love you showed to her

From there, you can take up

But if she turns it down, never mind and don't get discouraged, keep trying

But you have to define the kind of relationship you want from her

The key is
don't show any form of desperation, gently and easy flow makes her dance to you

But if you just want to have a fling or hit and run

Just respect yourself and stay away from her
Why can't he chop and clean mouth, ehn?? I don't understand this "be nice and don't misbehahave." statement. angry Men will always be men.

A man is a man irrespective of class and status.Women like men who are bold and confident.
I am currently dating a lady well above me in class and status. It started with one step of boldness.
Our love has grown in leaps and bounds since then.

Crazy things happen everyday though, there are exceptions to every rule. I even know of two secondary school mates of mime that are married to each other now and they started dating in high school. The exceptions are very rare to come by sha.

That's two secondary school mates. It's different from the Op scenario.
