Good morning house, I have been a silent reader all this while. I had been on a 10yrs ban since 2008 due to the usage of an agent, who messed up my application. I decided to try and apply again this year, and luckily I was issued a visa. I submitted on Feb 7 and was surprised when i got a text yesterday Feb 19 and email requesting for collection of my passport with visa on my passport. Although, I have a current renewed 2 years American visa on the passport. I want to give hope to those on ban that you might be lucky. Shalom.

I did not write any apology letter, i only addressed it on my cover letter, stating the reason why i was placed on ban and explained that it was due to my ignorance at the time.. The other documents i used are';

1. Invitation letter from my Step brother in uk with his utility, pay slips, mortgage docs and council tax, Bank statement
2. My employment letters, including leave letter
3. Letter of Sponsorship from my office stating the reason why the company was co-sponsoring
4. Company's Bank statement
5. My personal bank statement for 3 months (current & savings) with bank reference letter
6. my Payslips for 3 months
7. photocopy of exit and entry stamps to usa, kenya and dubai and a copy of my recent (renewal) usa visa
8. Wedding Certificate and Birth Certificate of my kids
9. Pension Certificate

it appears you picked V.I Lagos to do your biometrics. its a user pays location so the 55 pounds is for using the place. this is different from other value added services. Unfortunately, you are unable to change it unless you cancel that application and get a refund- 90 days timeline.

Yeepa!it’s like I don’t have a choice then to pay, if I had know I would have chosen TLS ikeja . By the way, does 1 appointment payment cover for my family of three or I have to pay separate appointment for them as well?

I applied for visiting visa for a week, I did Biometrics on January 15.
I submitted 2 bank statements Gtbank (Person account) with closing balance of 2.9M and Fcmb (Business account) with closing balance of 900k
But UK denial me

They said I submit a first bank statement of account which I don't even have one

NOTE: An Agent apply for me and he said he submit correct documents

1....I'm just confused, is it possible for UK Embassy to make such mistake.
2.... Hope I doesn't affect my application in the future
3.... What did I need to do now

Your agent needs to tell you the truth or you need to be honest with yourself here.

Did you give your agent list of documents to submit apart from those two bank statements?

Yes, you may be right, I had to include the office documents because in my appointment letter, oversea travelling was part of the benefits, which means i had to include the company's bank statement. And lastly my salary was 170k

Did your relative pay for SMS service because it could be the reason they were not contacted. You can as well track the application

Hey guys.. been a passive reader here.. I have a uncle in the UK that's willing to sponsor me over.. he asked that a scan my passport l, I did and sent to him.

He used an agent for everything and I had no clue at all. Was just sent my appointment booking slip which I used for my biometrics about three weeks ago..

At TLS, This agent denied me access to the documents I'd be taking inside till the very minute I was ready to go in.. was surprised to see almost all documents falsified in my name.. bank statement, school receipt, etc..

my uncle was sponsoring me over as a son, I didn't know this as well. When I saw this on the documents I had some concerns because we do not even bear same surname.. I felt this could be an issue.

Well, I picked up my application response this morning and It was a denial ..on the ground that there's no evidence to show that my sponsor is really my dad..

And ofcos it's stated there that I have no reason to appeal..

Just want to seek advice in what to do from here??

How many months was the company bank statement you submitted? What was the opening and closing balances on your personal bank statement of 3 months?

The yankee visa on the passport might have played a huge role. Can 3 months bank statement be accepted for someone with no travel history?

The company account was also for 3 months. My current account had less than 500k while my savings account which was my salary account was 96k as at the time i printed the statement, but by the time i submitted i had less than 40k. I wouldnt know if they verified it later or not.

Did you collect copy of your application from the agent, also did the agent help you submit bank statement or you printed it out yourself and gave it to the agent. Sometimes ECOs do make mistake.

First thank God and go for thanksgiving in church that you aint caught by the ECO regarding all the fake docs they submitted on your behalf, if caught you would have been banned for 10yrs.

All information submitted for u has been recorded, you can’t just make fresh application to state otherwise now.

Also the ECO not satisfied with your sponsor relationship with you, the point is if you reapply what docs do you wanna submit, same fake docs with agent? I guess your sponsor or you don’t have genuine original docs to support your application, reason they forged all for u. Coz if you did there won’t be point to forge anything.

Don’t try to forge anything especially bank statement coz you may not be lucky next time.
