That was what Chinus Achebe was asking while jealousy was eating up his bowels. He was jealous of Soyinka getting a Nobel and he being a nobody.

He died bitter and GEJ ensured he was buried like a dog.

Yorubas have 13 Grammys and you, your father, your ancestors and your generations have nothing.
So winning more grammys is now your conclusion that yaribanzas are far ahead of the Igbos? don't you see how daft you sound? Can any member of your worthless family dead or alive replicate just a quotient of Achebes achievements? The fact that you insult the dead shows why you're a bastard who won't die a good death, las Las na Coronavirus go kill your worthless parents soon, yaribanza pig grin

You said Akintola of MURIC, not Akintola of Yorubaland. Does Akintola hold sway in any part of Yoruba land? Is he a leader of thought, conscience or religion? No
He is merely the leader of a one-man NGO. Have you ever seen any member of MURIC? No. It costs less than 150k to register your own Muric and be speaking rubbish.

You on the other hand are trying to attack the physical characteristics of Yorubas. You forget that you share same characteristics with the African baboon. You both are hairy, engage in chest beating and you have ape-shaped heads.

Unfortunately, like a lot of Igbos, you envy the bond and togetherness that Yorubas have. I actually don't blame you. Division, hatred and ostracism is part of your culture. Osu caste system is part of your culture. Maltreatment of Widows and shaving their hair is part of your culture. Beating up your parents in the name of age grade festival is part of your culture. It took the Supreme Court to force you to allow your own blood sisters inherit property.

Ojukwu's Widow was not allowed to contest Senatorial seat where she was born, they told her to go contest in her husband's village. At her husband's village, they pushed her back to where she was born.

Hatred, jealousy, wickedness, deprivation and segregation is the hallmark of Igbo culture. You are ashamed of it instead of fighting it, you are trying to rub it on others so that it looks normal. Wickedness is not normal, neither are you normal.

Igbos are behind Yorubas in every way. It has always been so. Always at the back, together with slaves.
Igbos on Nairaland will never sleep after reading this. grin grin

Needless thread....

Akintola of MURIC made it clear that he's first a Muslim before a Yoruba man....

So does his followers....

So park well op

And how many of his extended family has your Muric's Akintole mistreated and/or murdered? Afterall, there's no extended family in yorubaland with a parallel religous faith across board as you see in other tribe. So how many of the pagans/traditionalists or christians among Akintola's paternal or maternal relatives has he abused?
This is no chest-beating. We, as yorubas, are bonded by things beyond the realm of religous sects. We relate with everybody base on the deed/person of the individual with tribal, religous, or partisan sentiments often thrown to the back burner until we get pushed to the extreme. And even so, we still deal rationally so bloodshed and other injuries to any of the parties involved can be avoided. That's why our tribe is the most accomodative and the most liberal with others among all other tribes in the country. We are the #Omomluabi, #TheOmoAtata, and #TheBestOfRace.

Grammys are the highest achievement for excellence in musical and artistic prowess. Yorubas have 13 and Igbos are so mentally barren that they can't get a single one.

Now, you are resorting to insults but I won't retaliate your bad manners. I'm fully aware that Igbos don't train their children and the children end up using their parents to gamble. Obviously, stupidity is part of Igbo culture.

You are a worthless slave who is only here because slaves are also present wherever you see a King. I won't respond to you any longer. Go and call sensible Igbos (if any) to engage me.

Arthur Eze is not worth 5.8 Billion. That was by a Nigerian blog. Arthur Eze was worth 800M dollars in 2019. That is why he is not listed on Forbes list. He is a pauper compared to Adenuga.

Forbes doesn't list paupers like Arthur Eze. I expect some Igbos to start crying marginalisation.

Igbos always claim to be able to feed everyone. I guess it is the psychological effect of your fathers dying of starvation and kwashiokor.

That is why today, Ikeja bus stop is more beautiful than all hotels in Igboland. That is why Yorubas have 13 Grammys and Igbos don't have ordinary nomination. That is why Yorubas have a Nobel Laureate and you are desolate.

Food is one of the basic needs of man. While you are stuck at feeding and making noise about it, Yorubas have gone far far ahead in accomplishments. You are still in the basic stages of civilisation. Yorubas are centuries ahead of you.

Yet with all these visionary achievements of the great Yoruba race, you're stuck as eternal serfs to the North, with all your economic indices under the gridlock of control by the same North. How many businesses in the whole of the SW are owned by the indigenes? in Lagos and Ogun states alone, nearly all the major industries are owned by Igbos and foreigners... it's preposterous and laughable that you will even dare allude that Lagos wasn't

No Igbo man has ever made Forbes list. It is not marginalisation, they just don't have the money.

Arthur Eze tries to get mentions in Forbes by getting them to announce his donations. However, whenever the ranking is done, he is usually dumped in the dustbin.

In Igboland, you are notorious cannibals and you still practice it today, codedly.
Even broader Ngwa land, they are known for cannibalism, especially those their small small villages in the bush.

Before you argue, can you tell me why in Ngwa land, people face oncoming people and walk by the left hand side instead of the right?
That's because if the cutlass of the cannibal hunters is to swing, it's harder swinging from the left to the right.

Here is a video of Igbos speaking Igbo language and cooking a full-grown male human.

Here is a list of Nigerians who have won Grammys.

Lekan Babalola: Won 2 Grammys. 2006 and 2009)

Seal [Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel) Won 4 Grammy's)

Sade Ade [Helen Folashade adu]: Grammy's

Chamillionaire [ Hakeem Seriki ] 1 Grammy's

Sikiru Adepoju; 2 Grammy's: 1991, 2008.

Kevin Olusola: 3 grammy's in 2015, 2016, 2017.

All the 13 Grammys won by Nigerians were won by Yorubas.

Yorubas Alone = 13 Grammys
Igbos = Nothing to show.
