Anyone in a hurry to sell a car is most likely a scammer.

The hurry is a tactics to deprive you of time for logical thinking.
This is different. He's a relative. This is a car I have driven before. Infact he wanted to sell to me cuz he doesn't want the car to leave the family. He has dealers looking to buy the car too.

It depends on the work you do.
I show the officers my office ID card.
They let me through.
(U might be asked the reason for being out/ most didn't ask me)
I have traveled twice during the lockdown(4 trips= thru &fro).
I must commend the police officers, FRSC and all.
They were very friendly and civil.
Very humane too.

If you don't have an official reason to travel, your best bet is to load your vehicle with lots of foodstuffs that is very visible.
They would allow you.

What work do you do?

Took off 7 am reached abj 5pm. Though I stopped over for few minutes to get water and others. Just understand that you would be delayed by soldiers scattered all over the highway.

If I'm any state governor, if you are caught entering my state, 2years imprisonment without any option of fine.
Nigerians are do insensitive and wicked. We all are hungry and need to get to work as soon as possible. If the total lock down in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja was maintained, there wouldn't be this new cases outside the index states that we are recording now; the government wouldn't have extended the lockdown as there would be traces on how to curb the spread. But no, we chose to behave like idiots, playing smart cards, risking putting your lovely new family into extinction.
What will it profit a man after playing the authorities and infect his family with Covid-19?? Think about it.

Let's support our government in this fight so everything can return to normal...
Me self never eat, no money but I just dey try manage my life anyhow I see it

Don't be ignorant. All the people that have tested positive to and died were all returnees from abroad. Not evn one single case of a local infection except for the Ondo doctor that is still under investigation.

Thanks for the update. Did you leave from Lagos as I plan to travel from Lagos to PH tomorrow driving. I trust both soldiers and police will collect toll. Please edit they're not collecting more than N200 per toll gate

My own case was quite different, I don't want to put all my private issues out here, that was why I didn't give the full reason why I had to travel. Well I explained my reason for traveling to the police officers why some where sympathetic others still insisted on collecting. Some collected N 50, some collected N100. I know of some police men that rejected 100 box and insisted I 'top it'. So I gave 300. There where some that asked for 2k I negotiated for 1k. Moreso I was traveling with loads. So carry enough cash. You may not even pay any dime.
