I just hope the southwest will learn their lessons this time, just 3 weeks into lockdown, robbery in Lagos and Ogun is now in daylight, meanwhile presido has cornered all the palliative cash to north.........instead of calling on FG to share palliatives, it's anambra money and Peter Obi they are trending.
Let anambra people worry about their money.
This isn't the time for baseless sentiments. Most of those who are blaming the south west for their election woes did NOT vote.

Did you vote?

The lock down plus closure of borders might remain till we in Kano catch up to Lagos economically grin

I know that is the desperate wish of piiggiiddioootts led by their brother, Ihekweasu. But the owners of Lagos have checkmated you.

No more new cases in Lagos... tongue

Politics is all about interest. No regrets or remorse of supporting Buhari after all we are sharing both good and bad side of the government.

The focus is now about 2023. Better to ignore the part being threatened message cos it has no meaning to me.

SW is battle ready for 2023..

Wail , gnash teeth, somersault can never be our worries cos we have told you on countless time to present your candidate..

No be today una Don dey vote against anything interest of SW. Who God has blessed....

Bruv leave them. Rather than prepare they continue to shout and wail. Let them be shouting "betrayal" over the 2015 ousting of GEJ up and down. 2019 is gone.

When 2023 is done and dusted they will again be shouting betrayers because no Party gave them their presidential ticket.

A lot of those that ve been paying their tax regularly had lose their jobs and a lot will still lose and also some of them ve not collect their last month salaries all due to this coro coro virus. This are the people that are contributing to the economy and adding values to Nigeria economy but this country care not about them, this country only care about the so call poorest of the poor that have zero values and contribute nothing to Nigeria economy, all in the name of politics, tribalism and religion. Does those peoples in those video look like poorest of the poor? If there is way for me to stop paying this useless tax I do stop it right now, one group of lazy, nonentity can not be feeding fat on sweat of the hard working peoples. Which kind country no de encourage her hard working citizens?
I understand you. That's why we should begin to strive and push for regional government. Let every state invest or squander the money they have as they wish.

Would we be here if Azikiwe had not betrayed the South by colluding with the North to truncate Awolowo's effort to have a secession Clause inserted in our constitution in 1954 so any unhappy region could walk away if unhappy post independence?

The Igbos don't like being reminded they betrayed the South first and before anyone else. Fact is that Nigeria is where she is and a "slave to Aboki", as Igbos love putting it, because of the myopic and treacherous behavior of Igbos.

We know truthful history is not taught in Igbo homes but perhaps that should start now to spare us the rants of original betrayer who hypocritical love calling others that same word.

Let Igbos agitate for their Biafra and leave Yorubas to their path. There is no union with Igbos (I go before others) Yorubas will not end up regretting badly.

No sir!
The money wasn't shared equally state by state.
Lagos, Borno and Delta state even got zero allocation.

Was the 10billion Naira to be used as Palliatives to the suffering masses or to equip capacity to fight Corona virus?

They received 10 Billion from the federal government yet the hypocrite are after 20k.

Buhari foolishly give Lagos N10Bn as if it's the only state with Covid19. Instead of giving 10 Billion to Lagos why not give it NCDC making it 15 billon or even federal Ministry of health.

So that they will work to establish labs in any state that needed it.

Instead he give Lagos and Lagos alone N10BN. And same Lagos is still benefiting with other Covid 19 states from N5BN given to NCDC.
Continue to justify tribal sentiments. We aught to go back to regional government so that everyone can manage their resources as they deem fit

Buddy, stop saying what is unlikely to happen. There is no constitutional backing for it. Best any Government, especially a Northern one, can commit to would be restructuring not regional governance for very obvious reasons.

I believe Covid-19 has taken the feet-dragging option away for Nigeria to now make restructuring a matter of when not if.

With world economies in the doldrums for possibly the next 5 to 10 years (Greece has not recovered even now from the credit crunch crisis of 2007-2008) Nigeria will have no choice but to diversify the economy away from oil aggressively and give states and regions more latitude to control their own growth potential and rate. We avoided the credit crunch because of negligible exposure to sub-prime mortgage lending vulnerability that started the mess.

In short the conservative North, even if they rule for the next 20 years, now no longer have the option of being conservative, as they used be to Nigeria's detriment, if oil income they always controlled is now negligible.

The North conservatism is a ploy to favour slowing down the south so they can catch up. They got away with this because their elite always controlled oil income and deployed it partisanly for their region.

I don't need to enunciate the obvious when awoof oil money no dey to squander yafun yafun anymore. Every region should go and prepare for this reconstructing and stop being lazy thinkers.

The Yorubas are already prepared and this is why we initiated the Dawn initiative (DEVELOPMENT
AGENDA FOR WESTERN NIGERIA) 10 years ago. It is a natural failsafe we can now fall back on 100%

We will see who the parasites are now that Covid-19 will mean all Nigerian administrators must be innovative to survive a post oil future that may now have arrived at our door earlier than many were prepared for.

So, why share palliatives to states with no major share of Corona virus cases. Has Lagos not been handling the cases before the federal government came in.

And the 10billion is NOT for palliatives, was it?

Coronavirus patients themselves get palliative treatments, because theres no medical cure for coronavirus as at today.

I repeat the money sharing is a scam. Bubu is only sharing money to his people in the north and his apc goons in the south.

No. I don't think we should think like that. As long as things fall apart between the east and west, the center will always belong to the north.

The north has taught every region how to do northern politics and how to mismanage funds. It wouldn't be different if we split.

Rather, let's advocate for a regional government. The competition will be healthy, the market will massive.
