If I decide to go through Landed immigrant, can I file for it on my own. Or I must work with an agent
Yes, you can file it on your own if you're sure you will not make any mistakes along the way. Any small mistake that result in your application getting delayed or rejected.

And that is why we have strict visa requirements and the rejection rate is extremely high at the various embassies. They know the format because they keep data on all these things. They know 70% of Nigerian applicants at the embassy have no plans of coming back and that is why they have several legal options you can explore to relocate permanently.

When Nigerians take short-cuts or lie in their applications, you end up ruining it for the rest that want to travel, study or legally migrate with legitimate reasons and documents.

Why is it citizens of Botswana can travel to Ireland and United Kingdom visa free? They follow the rules and the data they have shows that.
We have to find a way to earn back our trust. We used to be able to travel to many western countries without visas, that changed in the 80's when we started to overstay our tourist visas.

You seem very knowledgble and I am at a cross road you advice would be gold just 20mins of ur time .. U advice would help a great deal can I contact you sir

-First off all when you start your masters try to take on roles such as student union, class rep etc as being a known face you are more likely to get your lecturers as references.
-Attend campus career days as these are where companies come to university to talk about themselves and jobs they offer. There is also a career adviser on every campus and you can book an appointment with them.

-There are also student jobs paid jobs but your hours are restricted by law as you need to study and also voluntary/unpaid jobs with charities, these count as work experience so when the companies come you are more likely to land a position as you’re cv would be “interesting”.

-Some companies have license to sponsor your visa and others cannot so research these companies that come to your campus.
-Remember after school you don’t qualify for an Iltr till 5 years so your next visa would be post study.
(light thrown enough for you?.)....Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate.

If I am able to get a job right after school, can I skip the post study visa and switch to tier 2 visa or must I get the post study visa first?

It's good to find out how to receieve permanent residence of another country, but it's much more better we discuss how to stay back and develop our country for the benefit of all.
How about traveling out to mobilize the required resources needed and come back to make our country great.

I for once, I will not be out for more than 10years.

Someone once said that if u refuse to travel out of Nigeria before your late 30’s, you will blame yourself.

As an IT specialist you are easily eligible for Tier 1 visa to the UK (If you can secure a job) and would qualify for ILR (PR) in 3yrs and British passport at the end of your 4th yr(ie 1yr after being granted ILR).

If you are interested kindly visit www.gov.uk and check the process and eligibility criteria.

Which country should a Nigerian trained Doctor migrate to?
Which country pays more?

It's not about pay but a country that will grant you the opportunity to train as specialist/GP, offer resident status geared towards ILR/PR and citizenship after which you can navigate towards your preferred location. UK,US, Australia/New Zealand and Germany have got their pathways.

Mine was a long and tortuous 10 years.

First arrived the UK as student in 2009 on a 1 year visa for top up degree.
I renewed the visa for another 18 months to complete my Masters degree.
Then renewed for another 2 years on post-study work visa .
After, this I had to renew my residence for another 3 years under the Entreprenuer visa.
After that period, I extended the Entrepreneur visa for another 2 years.
It was in the middle of the 2 years visa that qualified for PR.
I am now in the middle of processing my citizenship/passport.
Wow.. it wasn't easy but it is worth it.
Hello Oga Ago, I need more information about this too up degree.

I wish to have another BSc.
What UK universities does this
Did you use an agent?
What's the cost implications? Please refer me to trusted links. Thanks

No it's 6yrs. I came in with Tier 2 skilled worker and spent 5yrs to ILR and 1yr to British passport. It's like that with every Doctor in the UK. You can confirm from anyone you know.

You get approved for permanent residence from Nigeria and when you get to the airport you be get your permanent residence papers and a few years later become a citizen.
They are certain requirements to become a landed immigrant in Canada,USA,Austrailia etc:
-English test requirement-IELTS,TOEFL
-Educational qualification.e.g Bachelor,Masters
-Fall under a certain Occupation e.g They are looking for people in certain occupations e.g Accounant,IT Analyst,Engineer etc
-Financial requirement e.g have a minimum amount in your bank account or asset valued at minimum threshold.

With HND as a Technologist, would one stand a chance ?

And secondly are they actually looking for in certain occupations ?

Came in here for school and lived here for a while...but then started getting all the requirement for permanent residency(PR) gradually such as WES report, Work experience reference, police report for my time in Europe and 9ja, IELTS, Proof of fund, sibling PR card details etc...then when the time was right I put in the application. Applied on the Express entry FSW stream platform on May 5..got my PR by August 14. I credit the speed and success of my getting my PR to God Almighty who favored me among many!! It is him that open the door of Nations to you..I must say I made prayers to God on the matter who answered me in his mercy.

Oh Canada..My home and native land..True patriot love...
