Thelucifer666:Oh dear... This is just awful. I have already become more serious with the broom therapy |
| Re: My Rott's Naughty Behavior: I Need Advice Please by Thelucifer666(m): 7:20pm On Apr 25, 2020 |
Ishilove:Not just broom therapy, too much aggression might not work. My advice for you to find a dog trainer or possibly google how to discipline a rott weiler, they naturally very AGGRESSIVE so flogging that dog might lead to some very painful bites. Just never, I repeat never allow that dog do what it keeps doing mostly the pissing part. It's a huge warning sign. |

Pavro-virus, it killed many dogs in the area. We didn’t detect on time. We started treatment but on the second day she died. |

peacettw:That is Nigeria for you, they seek advice from the wrong place. Which is why person who have STD instead of going to the hospital for proper diagnosis and treatment will come to Nairaland and begin ask for help. You have her the best advise. Let her take her dog to experts. simple. To be honest with you, you never can trust animal whether trained or not. |

emmy512:I hope you see and heed to my advice. Pit bulls are one the most dangerous breeds they are worse than rott weilers and built for violence. You have to beat that dog NOT ABUSE IT but beat it till it understands you're the alpha. Why Is it attacking the quiet rottweiler? It sees the other dog as a challenge, it's trying to gain rank in the pack, don't be surprised if after killing or injuring that dog it comes for you next because that's how it is. You need to tame that dog, flog it if it growls at you. Flog it pisses any where. Flog it if it refuses to bath BUT DON'T ABUSE IT. Give it treats, toys and food after it obeys an instruction this builds a bond between you and the dog. Walk the dog as much as needed and make sure it's not AGGRESSIVE around others especially family members. |

Gabrokpara001:normally, he suppose look for mouth guard... use am for the dog so he won't bite... then beat the hell out of him... else, he'll need gun to kill his dog soon when the dog is totally out of control |
| Re: My Rott's Naughty Behavior: I Need Advice Please by Nobody: 7:57pm On Apr 25, 2020 |
I don't usually comment but I will do that now. I will suggest, you start flogging the dog very well even with iron. Then always put him on Chains whatever or cage, depending on the one you have or plan to sell the dog to save life of your family members. Thank you very much. |

I remember my Rots (Hunter), very stubborn... He hates bathing ND very aggressive, I started disciplining him when he was 7wks old, because Rots are very very stupid dogs if pampered too much... At 6months, if he does anything I don't like, immediately I raise my hands up, and shouts his name, he lies down flat. I think that's a sign that I am the alpha... But with strangers ehn, if u raise dat hands up, u are on ur own o. Lol.. Parvovirus killed him early this year.. I really miss him Sha.. he was a true friend.. For your Rottweiler, just forget it.. U don already Bleep up.. just try and get a cage, don't let him out except at night, and feed him once and show him u are d alpha, by been the only one that feeds him.. Good luck. |

Ishilove, yor dog don turn oga for house be that. My 1years + GSD won't try any rubbish with me. I have a big stick I use to break his leg anytime he does shittts with me. Ordinary eye contact, my dog don fear but no outside he can ever fear like me. I hate rott cos they are too aggressive. You need to be muscular to handle him and also involve a vet. If he no hear word, sell him and buy another breed.......GSD will be loyal till the end if you don't take shiitt from him since day1. |

nickyvil:Exactly my intended points. The dog is trying to prove that he's the boss. It is either he clip his wings now or he packs out of the house. |

Ishilove:You sound like a 1st time dog owner. Rottweiler is a very strong dog and need to be shown he is below you and not above you in the pack! I have to tell you. You have encouraged his dominance Behavior with the way he welcomes you into the house and so all did not happen overnight! This can go down 3 ways from my POV. 1. Taking back Control of the pack by Show of force and dominance. 2. Obedience school if you can get one close to you in this lockdown. 3. Or gettin rid of the Dog to a security company or anyone that can take him off your hands. The Dog (Gift) is a ticking time bomb now esp if there are kids in the compound and can even pose a danger to adults! This new behavior makes him the leader of your pack! |

Ishilove:I have a 5 years old Boerboel that behaves the same way. There was a day I asked someone to put it to sleep. It has attempted to bit me on more than 3 occasions. Some time ago, I traveled and left my wife and the kids with the dog. The dog growled at my wife and my wife used a big stick to beat the dog. The next day when I arrived, I noticed a change in the dog behavior. It stopped growling at me. The dog is currently afraid of my wife. The beating from the big stick must have taught the dog a lesson. To be candid, it is risky using a stick, belt, etc to beat these big dogs. They could charge at you and cause you severe harm. If you cannot discipline the dog, let a professional trainer handle him. I wish you all the best with GIFT |
